  I’m rating a 3 because usually my experience/service here is good. Today however was a huge exception. I came to this facility driving from Kalamazoo early this morning for the recommended/scheduled glucose test and am 26 weeks pregnant. I arrive with my husband 10 mins early, bags packed with water and supplies since we don’t know if I’ll be there for an hour or 4. A urine test was ordered with the bloodwork and I inquired with the phlebotomist if I could get that out of the way real quick before we started drawing. This woman in her face, body language and attitude responded like this was the biggest inconvenience to her! She ‘allowed’ me to take the urine test first while ensuring to state “well you may have to wait to continue the bloodwork if I get another patient in between’. First of all, this is a scheduled appointment, this urinalysis is part of it all, I’m early to this appointment, and holy lord, I’m pregnant! Whatever, I ignored the blatant attitude.. I come back out minutes later and go back into the room and this woman looks bewildered that I’m standing there and flatly states, “well I guess we can get you in the chair now, have a seat.” I pause for a moment absolutely stunned that I’m being treated like an inconvenience and talked down to in a medical facility by this member of staff. She responds again, “go ahead and take a seat.” I am beyond frustrated at this point with lack of professionalism, lack of empathy, and degrading treatment, and swiftly left the room letting the employees there know that I’m done with this! I was not going to allow this impatient and rude lady stick a needle in my arm! As someone who doesn’t do well with blood draws, has a history of fainting, toppled with the fact I may have to be hunkered down in this place for up to 4 hours, I can’t eat, heavily pregnant, had to take time off of work and traveled all the way to this facility to have this done.. shame on you for your less than stellar care and your even worse attitude!

  3/13/24 receptionist could use customer service training, 3/14/24 different receptionist was very people oriented, technician's are fantastic
