This is the worst emergency room I’ve ever gone to. I went two months ago and after six hours, they placed me on a stretcher in the hallway and completely forgot about me because they said they were going through a shift change. Fast-forward to last night I went back and there were only five people in the waiting room when I arrive so I assumed I will be in and out. However, it took an hour and a half for me to be triage, even though I sat in the waiting room bleeding out on the floor. During triage, she didn’t bandage me up or anything. I left blood all over the floor in triage. Eventually, in the waiting room, she came out and put gauze and a bandage on my open wound. When I finally got to a room, I sat in there for three hours, and I was in so much pain. I push the nurse call button and I heard the nurses say that they didn’t know anybody was in my room. I was in so much pain and I asked for a doctor, but they said they had no idea how long it was going to be mind you at this point I have been bleeding profusely for six hours. I ended up leaving the emergency room because I was in so much pain and they couldn’t give me any medication without the doctor seeing me. They called in half hour after I left, asking where I went. The nurse is outside of my room were gossiping about other patients and a recent death that they had had which is completely against HIPAA.
St. Joseph Hospital has an excellent reputation, so it is sad that their Emergency Department is so poorly run. We arrived at 4 pm, and were promptly seen by the Triage Nurse, who ordered blood to be taken. Blood results came back at 6 pm, and we waited, and waited, and waited to be seen. By 10 pm, we were tired of waiting, and tired of zero communication from staff, so we just left. The "Masks Required" sign at the E.R. Entrance was a warning of how poorly this E.R. is run....Approximately half of the patients in the full waiting room did not have masks on. One would think that S.J. staff would be enforcing the Mask Mandate, due to Flu, RSV, etc....But no. So, in addition to receiving substandard care, visitors to this E.R. can also count on being exposed to every virus known, due to S.J.'s lax Mask enforcement.

This is one of the worst hospitals ST Joseph Emergency Services has the worst staff ever . Find the time I step in the door to the four hours I sit in cold 🥶 awaiting area. The triage nursed, the nurse and the hold nurse staff very unprofessional came to for medical treatment and they were very rude and got there at 12 o’clock noon left at 6:33 pm. I’m leaving out there cause it’s 6 o’clock. I had the worst experience ever with the staffed, you’re do I have no Doctor No nurse no triage no nobody came to assist me at all and then had me sitting in a chair room. The back part had me sitting in the chair an emergency room. The hospital is freezing cold I would not recommend no one else to come there don’t go there.
This is the worst hospital in the world — completely inefficient. The medical staff are utterly irresponsible. They left emergency patients waiting for over 12 hours without care. That’s almost cheating patients, if there no doctors, they should ask patients go to other hospitals or wait at home. After wasted 14hours, did some irrelevant examinations, finally they refer me to their other location hospital, then still repeat the delay and waiting. Very not professional. I just want to see an eye doctor, why it’s so hard. Due to the delay caused by their inaction, my ocular symptoms have significantly deteriorated.
