The WHA midwives are compassionate superheroes who helped me get through a 40-hour labor with patience, dignity, and independence. We didn’t have a moment’s hesitation from our 9-week intake that we’d made the right choice. The Centering prenatal care program was especially wonderful and I recommend it to everyone. Sessions with our group were the highlight of my pregnancy journey; my partner and I learned so much more in the group setting than we ever would have sitting in a waiting room and then being seen by ourselves. Plus we got to bond with three other families at the same stage as us, which is still so invaluable postpartum. Special shout-outs to Heather and Julia, our group leaders!
