  It says they take Medicare on their website. Medstar insurance. The website says they take the insurance but when I got there they told me they JUST stopped accepting it. The website also says no one would be turned away, they’ll work with you for payment options. I was turned away. I just need bloodwork to confirm pregnancy. This place is a joke. I really liked the male sitting at the front with dreads. He was very kind & did greet me upon entering unlike the girl at the front desk.

  Didn't get past reception. This location was chosen in hopes that it would be a non-judgemental supportive environment. Boy was that not the case. After making a same day appointment, arriving 10-15min early the greeting was one of initial engagement via intercom. The person answering was curt and unprofessional. While outside being asked reason for visit, name, and appointment time. Fortunately, it was a routine visit, nothing more confidential. Upon entering the appointment wasn't confirmed, ID was requested, again without confirmation of appointment. When told the appointment couldn't be found, after several inquiries, and just about being admonished for asking, I opted to leave. Fortunately, this was a chosen option out of many available. It hurts my heart to know this is the only choice for many, especially with the "reception" received. I've had previous experiences with Planned Parenthood in other states, however, this particular experience gives me deep pause in choosing this care provider as an option, or recommending it to others.

  I had such a positive experience at Planned Parenthood during both my initial visit and my follow-up. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel cared for and respected. The medical assistant and nurse practitioner were not only knowledgeable, but also extremely compassionate and attentive to my needs. What stood out the most to me was seeing Black women in healthcare at the forefront of my care. It made me feel safe, secure, and truly seen in a way that meant so much to me. Representation matters, and their presence created a comforting and affirming environment. Both visits were smooth and punctual, with everything explained clearly and thoughtfully. I never felt rushed, and all of my questions were answered with patience and care. Planned Parenthood provided me with high-quality, respectful, and culturally sensitive care, and I’m so grateful for the team that supported me. Highly recommend!

  Only been here 15 mins. There is one African American woman that needs a little tact!! You are suppose to ring the bell to enter. However the door opened by itself for a patient and the lady behind the desk had the nerve to ask her did the door just let her in by itself and for her to ring the bell next time. Its 916 in the morning. Please get over urself
