- GCGreg Cox2 days ago2.0I cannot rate the doctors or receptionists, but I was very disappointed with the Lab. I think the woman who took my blood samples needs some training. After two days I still have a large bruise on that that arm. I've had blood work done many other places over the years and never had this issue. I would not use that Lab again.
- DWdee wNov 11, 20251.0I have been going to UMBW in Pasadena for the past 3 years. Never had any issues until recently when I was unable to see a provider for an ongoing issue due to an error on this facilitys part. I called and left a message with my provider's team stating exactly what I needed. Then I received a phone call the next morning asking what my issues were as if they were clueless of what's going on. This team member proceeded to tell me that what I was asking for wasn't something I needed as if im making up what was told to me even though I explained I was unable to be seen because of their clerical error. This team members comments weren't out of line however her tone was very condescending and rude. Until now I've been happy with UMM Pasadena. No issues with my PCM but the care team needs to show more empathy and compassion.

Scheduled a visit for a month out and sure enough I get to the appointment and they say they don’t accept my insurance. The receptionists are highly impersonal and either don’t know or don’t care to accommodate the people visiting this practice. I spoke with an insurance representative who said this is a problem with the practice not with my insurance. If you are forced to visit this location I IMPLORE you to call multiple times to verify that they accept your insurance and possibly even speak with the doctor you are scheduled with directly because the receptionists seem to be completely oblivious. This practice wasted a month of my time and now I have to wait another month out at a different provider.
