If I could give it no stars I would. It is despicable how much my dad was suffering and they he has not been seen in 5 hours. There is a mentally disturbed guy who wet himself and has been sitting all over the place. There is no regards for cleanliness or elder care. There’s no communication at all. This is the closest hospital but I’d rather drive 1 hour and risk it to be seen and treated with some sort of care.

After posting my negative review about this hospital, I received the same generic response they post to all negative reviews ( you can scroll for yourself to see). However, still proceeded to follow the directions they provided and called and complained via the online tool -no response has been provided. Which lets me know they have hired staff to respond to the reviews to “look” as if they care for face value. However to the core, within those walls, it’s a place you never step foot in if you want to live to see another day. The ICU unit is a death sentence, I’ve seen it more than once - BEWARE

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your hospital. Unfortunately, it did not meet the standards I expected, and I felt compelled to share my concerns. The level of service was far from satisfactory, and I believe improvements are necessary to ensure that future patients receive the care they deserve. I hope this feedback can contribute to positive changes. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Arrived at the hospital with a complaint of severe headache, nausea and vomiting, and neck stiffness. All tell tell signs of a brain bleed. Triage nurse even made me walk by myself to get a urine sample. They only wanted to treat me for a headache, so much the DO who was there didn’t order a CT scan until hours after me arriving. What do you know three hours later they realized SAH. In their panic they immediately attempted to fly me to a more appropriate hospital but weather conditions were not adequate. It is by Gods grace that I made it to a better hospital via a critical care ambulance. I spent two weeks in Neuro ICU of another hospital, while Cap Region spent 3 hours allowing me to lay there with a brain bleed. No stroke alert called initially.

!!! THEY DELETED MY COMMENT THE FIRST TIME!!!! I was a mental health patient here. I went through the emergency room. I don't wish this place on my worst enemy. If you sadly need to go to the behavioral unit expect very dirty conditions. I saw blood on the sink, human feces on the wall, vomit clogged in another sink for days during my stay. Mold and grime in the showers, the maintenance wouldn't clean my shower even when I asked for days. I lied to get out and will most likely need inpatient again soon. Nurses do not care about there patients. They act as if we (mental health patients) are animals. And in the emergency room I was kept in the hallway for 24hrs. I witnessed the nurses letting patients who couldn't get up to walk to the bathroom (like elderly) use the bathroom on themselves..including number two and wouldn't change them immediately. So many people kept in the hallway without a room. Witnessed a sick woman vomiting and passing out and no one would help u til her son came in. The story's don't stop there. This place needs to have an undercover investigation. No one will get better here. If you can go somewhere else GO.
