- JCJennifer CohenDec 28, 20243.0Ok…it’s an ER and let’s be real, NO ER is like you see on the movies. Urgency isn’t on the menu lol so get that outta your head. I arrived here late, on a Tuesday at 9p, left at 4am. The only reason I left at that time is because I threatened to leave (in a kind way) because I had been sitting for 2.5 hours after being brought back to a room. The good: The waiting area is pretty clean but it isn’t huge and gets overcrowded. Most of the intake coordinators and nurses were nice enough. The bad: I had to give a urine sample and the bathroom was so disgusting, you could smell the fermented urine soon as you walked in, I was so surprised that it hadn’t been disinfected and bleached down, that’s very disheartening. The wait will be extensive, probably an average 4 hours unless you happen to come when it’s empty. They are understaffed for sure as far as doctors go. All in all, if you absolutely need an ER, you can try it out. I drove to another ER not far and it was also packed. I also went to one in Annapolis and it was SUPER crowded, so this was the lesser of the evil. Good luck and Godspeed🩷💜♥️
