- DDDAOct 1, 20251.0My experience following my initial visit with **Dr. Edidiong Akpan** has been extremely frustrating due to a persistent failure in communication and necessary follow-up. After my first visit, I had testing done. I received the results directly from the testing site, and they called me to schedule an additional appointment, clearly indicating the need for the physician's immediate professional review. I have been unable to receive this crucial guidance. My attempts to contact the office include: * **September 26, 2025:** Sent a message to Dr. Akpan via the patient portal regarding the test results and recommended next steps. I have received **no response** to this message.* **September 29, 2025:** Called the office and was told a staff member would return my call, which did not happen. * **September 30, 2025:** Called the office again and was unable to reach anyone. Being left without a necessary diagnosis or treatment plan for time-sensitive test results for over a week is unacceptable and demonstrates a critical failure in patient care. I do not recommend this office nor this Doctor.

My appointment was at 10:00 I arrived at 10:06 it was 10:10 when they cancelled my appointment while I was standing right there. And it was so funny it was lmao moment for everyone in the office. Except me

Finally got to a Dr who helped me (dr Nikou) who apparently is no longer with the practice. No one called me to let me know. I left 2 msgs to get a refill (and the pharmacy callee several times too) without response. Finally got to an office person who said "we are understaffed so you just need to keep calling" then said i need to come in before a refill. This was not for a controlled substance. I expressed some personal medical issues that prevented me from coming in and she flat out didnt care. She was nasty and clearly she either hated her job or hated dealing with people. I cannot believe how poorly i was treated here
