A combination of incompetence and laziness. The nurse practitioners are USELESS and unqualified to be acting as medical professionals. They lack the skills to diagnose and provide adequate medical treatment for minor injuries or illnesses.

Was not seen until 545 pm for a 330pm appointment. Waited in waiting room with sick urgent care patients. Fast forward to receiving bills, was not informed at the appointment or the follow up that the facility was Out of Network for my insurance. Continuously called (for months), could not get through to billing dept, finally was told it would be resubmitted to my insurance. Still not covered, UMDFP continued sending statements, I tried appealing with my insurance company. They did nothing either. Finally, I let it all go to collections, begrudgingly settled with collections last week, and today received a new bill for services rendered on 10/16/2024, almost ONE YEAR ago. These charges were not included in the charges sent to collections, so UMDFP is saying I owe MORE $ to them! Their front desk customer service has never been pleasant, I have finally talked to someone that is nice in billing, but they can't do anything to help me, told my issues will be escalated to the new office manager. I was charged $65 for a flu shot and $56 to administer it. That's $121 for a flu shot I could've gotten FREE at a pharmacy. According to them it was my responsibility to make sure I was In-Network. What a joke!
ZERO STARS!!!!
