Twice in the last two weeks I had a doctor send a prescription to Safeway pharmacy (one was an ER doctor) which weren't filled until after I called and asked if they had received them. Then they checked and said they were in the process of filling them. This was hours after they were sent the prescriptions, one more than 24 hours after they were sent the prescriptions. Then there was a new prescription that was sent to them that hasn't been filled yet 4 DAYS ago, probably because I forgot to call them and see if they were planning to fill that any time soon. There is SOMETHING definitely wrong with their protocol in filling prescriptions. Especially one from an ER where the drugs was a badly needed antibody for an infection, the delay prolonged the pain and suffering of the patient. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy ASAP.
