- GCGiada CApr 16, 20252.0I love going to UMMC in Cambridge, however what is bothersome is the rude person who handled my call this morning 4/16 @ 9:17. I guess I interrupted her social media time, very impatient and in a rush. Totally got fed up with the call.. I want to get my blood work done for my annual check up, never used this place for blood work only to see my sugar doc.
- DODavid OAug 14, 20205.0My experience with the Nurses and Doctors over the years has always been top notch but today I just had to give praise to the Security Guards working at the ER entrance. I didnt catch his name but he is a real solid looking dude that looks like he could be a body guard for a celebrity or something. He was awesome with my Son and you can tell he has heart of gold. Just a really cool man. Covid has everyone on edge and it's above and beyond that even non-medical staff are doing their best to holistically help patients.
- HPHabanero PepperNov 25, 20191.0I have had several bad experiences at this hospital. I was suffering from kidney stones and told by nurses to “be quite!” . Also i was throwing up due to pain and nurse said “your breath stinks turn away!” this was on separate occasion. Now that being said I don’t know if they understand level of pain that I was in. I ride motocross and have driven myself to hospital on couple of occasions with broken bones one that required surgery so as not to puncture skin. I do not over exaggerate pain. This ER is awful and unless I am dying I will be going to Easton.

- PBPriscilla BrownMay 19, 20145.0I brought in a friend visiting from NJ who came to stay with me on vacation. He started getting sick and we figured we would best bring him into the ER. He was treated like a king .... they admitted him as they wanted to be extra sure he was ok before letting him go back to my place. He said he never was treated so great in any hospital he ever was in. The following year my brother came to spend some time with me and had an issue. Immediately I brought him to the ER. There was no wait, they took him in right away, gave him all the tests needed, told him to enjoy his few days of vacation with us but to make sure that he gave the disc that they sent him home with to his doctor as soon as he got back to NYC....he did and it saved his life. the disc showed that he had early detection of lung cancer. Kudos to Dorchester General Hospital because they did not want to ruin his vacation by telling him the bad news, but made sure that he saw the doctor back in the city for immediate followup. A truly knowledgeable and professional facility. We are so blessed to have a hospital like this in our area. Therefore I give Dorchester General Hospital 5+ Stars
