I have came to this obgyn twice and both times they didn’t check me in right. They tell me to be there 15 mins early and I’m still waiting to be seen an hour later. The 1st time it took them an hr and a half to see me. This place is ridiculous. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for an obgyn.

I would have given ZERO ⭐️! I would NOT pick this place as your GYN doctor. They give you the run around! When call I to schedule, the receptionists’ tone tends to be short and rude, if you can even get them on the phone. I had to do their job and make sure I have all the paperwork when THEY refer me to their own breast center. Apparently they only gave me half of the paperwork I need to get the breast exam done. When I scheduled the breast exam the receptionist said I needed another order to get the exam and did the doctor sent it? Like how would I know? I had to speak the office manager then because of how rude that receptionist was. Both the GYN and the breast center are all under UMC, don’t the departments talk to each other?! I had to call over 15 times today at GYN office just to get someone to answer the phone. The receptionist got an attitude when I gave her the same tone she gave me, it’s like she can have a rude tone but when you give it back it’s a problem?! When I spoke with the office manager Erica today, she stated that it’s because they are short staff to the reason of all the confusion …as a manager myself, that’s not excuse for your team providing crappy customer service. I’m working on finding a new GYN after they check out the IUD that THEY may have been inserted wrong 😳…. It’s rare I have a good experience at UMC. Where are the patient surveys? And is upper management even reading them to improve your customer service?! I guess NOT since they have a 2.7 star rating on google and everyone can see that customer service is bad at UMC

I’ve been going to Susquehanna OBGYN since I was a teenager, but after years of feeling like my pain wasn’t taken seriously and seeing a different provider every time, I decided to get a second opinion. My PCP recommended Upper Chesapeake Women’s Health, and specifically suggested I see Jacquelyn Engwall. When I called, the front desk mentioned I could get an earlier appointment with Donna Kern, but I explained I didn’t want to see her because of what I’d heard from friends and family experiences. They were very understanding and scheduled me with Jacquelyn without an issue. Jacquelyn was absolutely amazing. She was the first provider who truly listened to me and took my concerns seriously. She explained things clearly, was very compassionate and knowledgeable (providers at Susquehanna ruled out endometriosis because of a clear ultrasound. She is the first one to explore that route and told me it is not always found on an ultrasound), and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. For the first time, I left feeling hopeful that my pain could finally be addressed. While Donna Kern's reviews speak for themselves, I wouldn’t let that overshadow the rest of the office; just try to avoid Donna. Jacquelyn and the rest of the staff were wonderful, and I’m already planning to switch to this office for routine care. If you want a provider who genuinely cares and listens, I can’t recommend Jacquelyn enough.

Absolutely the WORST place to ever try to seek ANY care. The level of unprofessional here is unrealistic !! Also be aware your sexual preferences DO matter making and appointment here, oh and your dead relatives as well so I hope you’re not sensitive to interrogations. Don’t bother asking to answer these questing in confidence either, the Karen’s here DO NOT CARE, and they are all prudes.
