I've had 4 doctors in a row leave the practice leaving me with no doctor. I can't ever get through to a person on the phone.

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the utterly unacceptable level of care provided by the University of Maryland Medical System, specifically the Upper Chesapeake and Harford Primary Care practices. My experience has been nothing short of disastrous. After my original physician abruptly left the practice, I was assigned a new doctor. Initially, things seemed manageable. This physician implemented a convenient system of year-long refills with 6-month requests, streamlining the process. However, this supposed convenience has proven to be a complete illusion. Today, at the end of the initial 6-month period, I find myself unable to obtain my necessary medication. The reason? The very doctor who established this system has also departed the practice. Now, due to the recent merger of Harford and Upper Chesapeake, the practice refuses to issue my refills without a new patient establishment appointment, which carries a staggering one-month wait time. This situation is utterly unacceptable and demonstrates a profound disregard for patient health and well-being. While my medication may not be "life-threatening," the anxiety and inconvenience caused by this system failure are significant. I can only imagine the immense harm this organization has inflicted on countless patients due to its systemic failures. This practice's refusal to ensure timely and uninterrupted access to prescribed medication should be considered a serious breach of patient care and potentially illegal. I urge the appropriate authorities to investigate this matter and hold the University of Maryland Medical System accountable for its negligence.

I haven’t been to the doctor since In about 10 years. Recently decided to get back in the groove and go. I called this office not knowing anything about how to set it up or what to expect and they handled my case perfectly. I was put with Dr. Ali, she is very nice and knowledgeable and made my trip quick and easy. She addressed all of my concerns and made sure I was in good shape to carry on. She is very responsive, helpful and makes you feel like the center of attention. I got some tests done by the awesome staff at Upper Chesapeake and I walked out with much more knowledge than when I walked in. Definitely recommend this office and especially Dr Ali. Will definitely be coming here for now on.

I have been seeing Mary Wince for almost 2 years now and she is the best primary I have ever had. She understands my concerns, she LISTENS and will take the time to actually talk through your health concerns/issues with you. She makes me feel like I’m not alone which is a big deal since my delivery was a scary one and I now suffer from health anxiety. The office is also great with responding quickly to emails through the portal. Cathy is who I speak with the most and is very respectful and is always very helpful. I highly recommend Mary to anyone who needs a doctor that actually listens to you and will help you work through whatever health concern you’re having.

My mother is a patient and with the covid being an excuse for everything now we tried to call to make an appointment cant get through the phone systems don't work properly and they are aware of this as are all doctors offices I have been told this is an on going problem, so now we go online to try to make an appointment and register for patient portal and cant do that without a code that we need to get from her provider over the phone because you cant go into the office because of covid so now my mother cant see her doctor for an in person or tele visit because you cant reach anyone, this is amazing and these are the systems and people that are advising us how to remain safe and healthy, and to be clear covid didn't close anything and keep people home thats our local and federal government. God help us and be smart and safe. P.S. Please fix you phone systems I shouldn't be on hold to leave a message on an answering machine.
