  My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Maddula. You can never get a live person on the phone when you call her office, and she ignores requests from the pharmacy and patients for medication refills.

  If I could give less then 1 star I would, never in my life have I experienced a phone issue like their office. My husband and I have called multiple times too many to count. No one answers... try the operator they transfer us get a voicemail. Unless I experienced it myself I don't know if I would believe someone if they said the dr's office NEVER answers. Have left VM's don't get return calls. My MIL really needs answers, so now my husband will be going into the office to actually speak with someone.

  Doctor is great. Receptionist is rude and doesn’t need to roll her eyes at patients when talking to them. Need to be more professional.

  I called this office yesterday morning to schedule an appointment for my husband and the receptionist who I spoke with was rude. I was trying to schedule my husband a 1yr follow up and she gave me a hard time. She first told me that she could not find him in the system and asked me which dr did he see. I told her that I wasn't sure and then she told me that I couldn't schedule an appointment for him because I was not on his contact form, which has nothing to do with HIPAA. I wasn't asking for his personal health records I was asking to schedule an appointment. Once she found him in the system and figured out which dr he saw, she then told me that he shouldn't wait last minute to schedule an appointment if he is having a problem. I told her that he's not having a problem it's just a follow up and she says well it's a follow up so he' s having a problem. She then told me that it will be until Jan for him to get an appointment and that she couldn't schedule him yet and to call back. I called the Aberdeen office and had a whole different experience. The receptionist there was pleasant and was helpful and was able to get me an appointment at this location in Nov not Jan. In my opinion the first woman I talked to just didn't want to be bothered. I also work for University of Maryland and I'm disappointment that I was treated that way by a fellow team member.
