If you want to talk about the worse of the worse hospitals this one is it! My sister in law went in to the ED with severe bleeding and due to her having no insurance they don’t want to do a surgery she needs all they keep to doing is pumping blood into her body to hopefully stabilize her enough to send her home mind you she’s still bleeding uncontrollably! If you don’t have insurance don’t go to this hospital they’ll literally let you die.

Nobody cares about you. The ER took forever. Good luck getting any timely care here. This is my "diabetic friendly" breakfast. Horrible hospital. No one cares at all about you.

I have never in my life had to deal with such
rudest an unprofessionalism calling a doctor's office. The secretaries answering phones for doctor's offices at upper Chesapeake medical center in Bel Air should be ashamed and embarrassed. Not only were they uneducated but had no idea how to complete their job and literally lied to me on the phone. Now I understand why upper Chesapeake has reputation it does.

I'm 35, eat healthy and workout. Went to the ER with stroke symptoms after two weeks of dealing with spine pain that appeared out of nowhere. Tell me why the ER 'doctor' sent me home with, "Just change your pillow, nothing's wrong with you." Disgusting that these people are in charge of healthcare. I've had almost exclusively horrible experiences at this hospital (including a resident who sliced into me with a scalpel without numbing me), but I never thought one of their doctors would say something so absolutely stupid in place of actual care. Luckily, my actual doctors actually know how to diagnose and treat illnesses: a double-round of Pred-pack was literally all I needed to get better. Turns out, I have a rare genetic disorder that causes all kinds of crazy symptoms. No, my pillow had nothing to do with it. In fact, the doctor didn't even speak with me enough to learn anything about me or my prior symptoms. Sleep and my bedding never even came up. She literally just made it up to have some reason to send me away.
While I was still recovering, I had a lot more scary days, some where it felt like my head was trying to self-decapitate. I was terrified. But I refused to show back up at this hospital; if they're just gonna tell me some BS like 'change your pillow', I'd rather die at home anyway. Thanks for the trauma, I'll never forget it.
Worst hospital around by far.
