Horrible experience again and again. I transferred to this office in the beginning of my pregnancy and I had a lot of hope considering it was UMMC. However, I have been disappointed more and more as time goes on. Your blood pressure shouldn't be higher when you leave the office than it was when you arrived. From the disorganization of the front desk, to the nurses never returning your phone call or messages through the portal as they promise they would, to the inconsistency of seeing different providers who all have their own opinions on what testing you should and shouldn't have, to being lectured and felt like I am pushed into things I do not want, to the lack of communication overall and just feeling like they don't care about their patients and rather just the money they are making off your appointment and unnecessary testing. Just overall horrible experience. When one is pregnant it should be a joyous time, a time to cherish and take in the happiness of pregnancy, not a omg lets get this over with because the doctors make my life so stressful I just don't want to think about coming back here next month, week, whatever. I can't imagine what the delivery experience would be like if this is the type of care I am receiving now being pregnant.

I scheduled an emergency appointment here after some very concerning symptoms arose. In a time of incredible stress, vulnerability and fear, Dr. Chawla and nurses Jessica, Rachel & Alexandra were kind, informative, patient, thorough, sympathetic, thoughtful and non-judgmental.
I cannot recommend these women highly enough. In a time of true need, they were the best care I could've asked for.
I've had some bad experiences in the past with other gynos / physicians who were not sensitive or caring, and my experience at UMMC Women's Health has quite literally reinstated my trust in medical professionals.
I cannot say thank you enough. And also thank you to the wonderful receptionist who added me to the calendar within 2 days, and was kind and patient while I onboarded as a new patient.
All around -- thank you.
