Lvad warning from a spouse that Surgeon Howard Todd Massey mutilated at TJUH. My husband is at TJUH RIGHT NOW and his surgery was March 21, 2023. Do not trust this individual who should have his license taken! They are only on the 3rd model that has recalls on it as well. The Dr.’s & Surgeon minimize the severity and don’t tell you about complications nor that even if they make a mistake it’s all on the volunteer that signed up for the surgery! It’s an abomination and all about money! Visit the icu for LVad patients first, my husband was in it for 6 months straight and then back and forth to rehab and TJUH. There should be laws in place! I went through 8 Lawyers and was told they are allowed to make mistakes and get away with them! The Dr.’s at TJUH on his main team are just as much at fault as well. So corrupted with pride and greed it’s repulsive! They don’t care about you or your family! You will be dismissed and forgotten. I did not forget!

I’ve had the best care anyone could ask for. Everyone is friendly and Courtney, Sarah and Marco are the best at keeping up my care and needs.
