I have only been here twice with my granddaughter but I have not yet experienced any issues. The staff has been pleasant and very helpful. I have also been able to reach someone both times when I called for a specific need. The young lady Amber that took my call was wonderful and very helpful.

This clinic is a chair! Literally, every year they’re getting worse and I have nothing positive to say. Except the doctors were consistent and excellent doctors. But when we get to the front desk and making an appointment, it’s a mess. Scheduling has always been a headache but never this bad and they now have a call center. You can’t speak with anyone in the clinic. I have been going here since I was a child on paca st. I want to keep my children with University but my only option is Towson so we’ll have to go with another hospital and there clinics all together. You used to have the option to make your appointments at the end of your current one but rarely. I have a big kid and a newborn and they have appointments every 3 months and it’s always something. That call center just makes it more inconvenient when I’m taking they added this to make scheduling easier. THE CLINIC AND CALL CENTER IS NOT ON THE SAME PAGE. I would rather wait on hold for a HOUR cause I know I will get an appointment. They always had one person making appointments so I don’t know where the real issues lie. When I go in for appointments it’s never packed or crowded like you would think from these scheduling issues. The my chart appointment portal don’t work either. DO BETTER UNIVERSITY!

The staff and doctors at Midtown Pediatrics have consistently been disappointing. I’ve never had a positive experience with the front desk, which sets a poor tone from the start. While there are some truly wonderful nurses who were kind and helpful, I felt judged and ostracized by the physician during our visit.
My children were experiencing panic attacks while waiting for their vaccinations, and instead of offering support, the physician continued to ask questions about their medical history, adding to the stress of the situation. It was a traumatic experience for all of us.
Thankfully, the nurses stepped in and did their best to help, but I expect much more from physicians—especially given their level of training and compensation. They offered very little support during what was clearly a difficult and emotional time.
I want to be clear that I deeply value the University of Maryland Hospital system overall, but Midtown Pediatrics has consistently fallen short of the care and compassion we expect.
