I was having a hard time finding the right pair of sunglasses for my strong prescription. Julien was so helpful and found the perfect style. Thanks so much Julien! I went early on Saturday morning and it wasn't busy at all. I highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Pearle Vision, Garden City (Winnipeg). Harshvardhan helped both me and my sister pick out our glasses and explained all the options and benefits very thoroughly. He was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job, and I would 100% recommend reaching out to him if you visit the store.

I had a wonderful experience when I visited Pearle Vision located at Garden City Winnipeg branch. I was assisted by Harshvardhan and he has been very helpful. He was very patient in explaining in detail the different options that I can avail. I’ll definitely visit this location again if I’d receive the same level of service. Kudos Harsh!

Reposted/Edited so I can call out the response and actions afterwards. When going in to pick up and have my new glasses on Dec 17, 2025, I had the displeasure of dealing with Julien. From the second he started "helping" me it felt very off putting, like a cloud of darkness looming over him. His questioning and commentary came off like he was treating me like I was stupid or like a child, then argued with me about the colour of my frames. After I mentioned the burgundy glasses he looked at them and said they are brown, which I responded no they are burgundy (they are a darker shade of burgundy than the jacket I was wearing). After going back and forth a few times about the colour, I asked him to look at the paperwork to see what Ralph Lauren and Pearl Vision says the colour of their frame is. He looked and said red/gold which I said right so they are burgundy not brown.. his response was, "well each to their own".. Uhm no not at all, if you can't decipher colour and argue with paying customers then maybe you shouldnt be working in a company where you help people pick out coloured frames, never mind working with the public at all and why are you arguing? If you disagree due to your "opinion" then look at what the company says it is and go with that? Why are you making a customer who regardless of being right or not feel uncomfortable? I had worked in the industry literally doing the same job and this was flabbergasting. He then asked me if I know how to clean my glasses... as I'm literally wearing the pair of glasses I walked in with. Regardless if this is what they are trained to say... if the experience has already been negative and he's being argumentative then no matter how he asks it's going to come off rude. He put the two new pairs back in their cases and in their boxes and asked me if I wanted a bag. He put the boxes in the bag but left the lids on the counter in front of him. Why would I not want the lids and why would you assume I wouldn't want them? They are directly in front of you so the excuse he didn't see them is not valid and it came off intentional after everything else that occured. I asked if there was a survey that I will be sent for the service which he said yes for the person who helped me pick out the glasses but not for him.. which he was the major issue. I then asked to speak with someone else which he grabbed the manager Amanda. She made excuses, saying she has never seen her staff do this, her staff doesn't act this way and she has never received a complaint by anyone. She gave an insincere apology and states she will talk to her staff. It's interesting that I see another one star complaint specifically about Julien being rude and making accusations against another customer, plus other complaints about rude staff, yet no complaints Amanda? So that was a lie and clearly "talking" to her staff had made no changes to her staffs attitude. I treated him with the same energy and attitude that he treated me the moment he started "helping" me, I refuse to be nice to individuals who have no care to treat me or other people with basic courtesy or friendliness. If you can't show basic respect, then why should customers force themselves to be cooperative or nice? If you didn't like your energy given back to you then you need to do some serious work looking inwards. I have gone to other locations over the years and I have never been treated like this nor had a bad experience as the staff have always been open, friendly and know how to treat people. I will not be going back, I will not be recommending and I absolutely will tell anyone I know to not go to this Pearl Vision after this experience with the rep and manager. The stores response to the original review was to call the store, why? so I can speak to the Manager again when she already lied? Two reviews directly after (Amoi & Selwyn) my original review praising Julien? So you really think it's not obvious that he or his coworkers made fake profiles or had friends/family members write fake reviews? That's super shady and on point with my experience.
