On Monday, December 15, I spoke with my doctor’s secretary regarding a prescription and was informed that the pharmacy needed to fax a request to the doctor in order for it to be authorized. I immediately contacted the pharmacy and asked them to send the fax. On Sunday, December 21, I called the pharmacy to follow up and was told that the fax had been sent on Thursday. When I asked why it had taken so long, I was told that they may have been too busy. On Monday, December 22, I contacted my doctor’s office again and was informed that the fax was actually sent on Saturday, December 20 at 4:21 PM, which directly contradicts what I was previously told by the pharmacy. Additionally, when I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager today, I was first told that the manager was not available. Shortly after, another staff member took the call and informed me that the pharmacy manager would be in at 6:00 PM. This inconsistency further added to my frustration. The lack of clear communication, delays, and inconsistent information caused unnecessary stress and delayed my prescription. This level of service is unacceptable, and I am very unhappy with how this situation was handled.
