Other reviews trashing this place clearly have little psycho education on eating disorders and/or didn’t call their insurance companies first. A wonderful place that anyone struggling should reach out to.
- SCSarah CostelloFeb 14, 20232.0some of the MHCs are amazing. others, however, are simply in the job for the paycheck. i was in the IOP program for about 3 months via zoom. the clinican told my care team to not allow me to visit friends, or have my phone or comfort items if i didn’t easily gain weight/comply with treatment. i got sick during a breakfast call, and the clinican on duty tried to make me finish the food i had just gotten sick on top of and wanted me to show it to the other group members. this same clinician picked on an 11 year old girl on her first day of treatment for not participating in the group filled of teenagers, as if it isn’t overwhelming enough. not to mention i was discharged without any reasoning and refused to be given any outside resources. i would not recommend. a few staff members genuinely care, but for the most part, this is a business for profit gain. not to help people recover.

In literally WEEKS, I was able to set clear goals and USE THE SKILLS they taught to make huge progress in weight restoration and reducing eating disorder behaviors. I could not have done it without them!
