  What an absolute joke. I called when I was actively suicidal and in crisis. They told me they had an open female bed available, they just needed to review my referral. After spending 2 hours packing my stuff, they called me back to let me know they were REJECTING my referral. Even though I was in crisis and harming myself while on the phone with them? Good luck, you’re on your own! After telling me they can’t help me, they’ve had the audacity to harass me via phone every day since. You already said you’re unwilling to help, stop calling me. 0/10

  So here we go...I would like to tip my hat to all of you for being willing and able to deal with doing this job on a daily basis. It "IS NOT"easy in the least bit. When Al picked me up at Cape Cod Hospital after being displaced from Bay Cove Hyannis due to a fire there...thank goodness everyone got out of that fire btw...I felt a sense of relief. He was laid back, funny...etc. Joy, Brittany 2 lol, Val, "Z", were on point. However, I must say that Amy, Sharon and last but not least Brooke all stole the show. Great intermittent talks with these three helped me get through as what I deemed a tough crowd of clients. It was very close quarters and retreating to the back tv room was essential for me. Lots of cross talk and the lack of a hearing aid for one dude was not fun but inevitable. I only had five days there so I feel sorry for the employees. They need more space in there for EVERYONE. I could go on about specifics but will just leave it at the following. When a person is disabled, homeless for a year and going through a major PTSD event...being in such close proximity to others in perhaps similar situations gave me even more anxiety than when I entered. I actually hoped to go back knowing the players changed, but was denied by intake back on the Cape. So be it I suppose. What's on your plate? What's on others' plates? You NEED to consider and be able to recognize those questions before going. Lessons in life never cease to exist just know that your destiny is in your own hands.

  Do not go here. Extremely unhelpful should not be called a crisis center. They didn't do a thing, got there and sat on the couch and in bed the whole time no one spoke to me about my crisis no professional therapist or drs saw me just a rude nurse who didn't care if I was helped or not and asked medical questions. It was shocking. This is exactly what's wrong with the mental health industry. 👎👎👎
