Dr. Lorenz at True Dental in Fall River is truly a godsend. After my dentist of 20 years, someone I trusted deeply and considered a friend, passed away during COVID, I struggled for years to find a new dentist. I’m terrified of the dentist and have a bad sensitivity to numbing agents. I visited multiple offices and left feeling dismissed, uncomfortable, or unheard. It was honestly exhausting and discouraging. I finally spent weeks researching and reading reviews before finding True Dental, and choosing Dr. Lorenz was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Her compassion, patience, and genuine care are rare. She listened to me, understood my concerns, and treated me with a level of kindness and respect that felt more like family than a medical appointment. I recently had a complicated cavity filled just two days before Christmas, and it was, no exaggeration, the best Christmas gift I could have received. The entire experience was calm, thoughtful, and far better than I ever expected. If I can get through a dental visit here, honestly anyone can. I am incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Lorenz and True Dental after such a long and difficult search. This was truly a best-case scenario, and I cannot recommend her and her office staff enough. Thank you. -Jan P.S. I drove from Rhode Island just to go here. : ) Best choice ever. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity.

Frequently Asked Questions About True Dental

Do I really need to floss?

Flossing is indeed crucial for oral health. While brushing cleans the visible surfaces of teeth, flossing reaches the spaces between teeth and below the gumline that brushes can't access. Regular flossing helps prevent cavities, gingivitis, and gum disease by removing plaque and food particles from these hard-to-reach areas.

Why do I need a dental exam?

Annual dental exams are essential for maintaining optimal oral health. During these exams, your dentist will review x-rays, conduct a thorough examination of your teeth and surrounding tissues, and perform an oral cancer screening. These comprehensive check-ups allow for early detection of potential issues, helping to prevent more serious problems from developing.
