    My home gym shut down for the weekend for maintenance (Downtown). I went to this location on Saturday and the associate let me use the gym. Went on Sunday and was told I can’t use the gym and needed to pay $5 to get in. Not only is the lack of consistency frustrating, but it’s embarrassing for PF to say that they see other PF gyms temporarily shutting down as a money-making opportunity. That’s disgusting considering how Boston is sky-high expensive as it is and that most PF members don’t have an extra $5 to spend on a gym membership they already paid for.

    Title: Abused and Humiliated by Staff — Completely Unacceptable I’ve been a loyal member here for over 3 years, but my recent experience was beyond shocking. After being diagnosed with cancer, I’ve only been attending occasionally with my husband. On a recent visit, I wasn’t feeling well and went for a massage while he worked out. The front desk employee became hostile when I explained I was there with my husband, calling me “entitled,” shouting, throwing papers, and even insulting me in front of other clients — all while knowing I’m undergoing cancer treatment. I was humiliated, disrespected, and made to feel unsafe. The stress from this incident caused a setback in my treatment, and management has ignored my complaints while continuing to charge me. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and basic human decency is appalling. Given the abuse and the harm it caused to my health, I am considering taking legal action. No one should ever be treated this way.

    If I could I would give no star. Planet fitness, kept overcharging me for the last 4 months which was $45 a month instead of $25 per month and when I call them to find out why this is happening, they told me I need to put in my checking account instead of my credit card. I went and I put my checking account, two days later they took $90 as if I haven't been paying. Total for 2 months I paid $180.00 buyers beware! I'll cancel it later today.

    I’ve been a Planet Fitness member for about 6 years and have always appreciated the flexibility of being able to freeze my membership when I travel for long periods of time. In the past, managers have been understanding and willing to put my membership on hold as a courtesy, even though the official policy requires a doctor’s note. Unfortunately, the new manager is extremely rude and inflexible. I requested a 3-month freeze, and instead of showing the same level of courtesy I’ve always experienced, she insisted on a doctor’s letter. This left me with no choice but to cancel my membership out of frustration. It’s disappointing to see customer service go downhill like this. I hope Planet Fitness reconsiders who they put in charge, because with this attitude, I doubt she’ll last long in this role.

    As a visitor to Boston from Barbados and very unfit at coming 63 Years of age. My new Son in law persuaded me to go with him. Although hesitant to start, I was shocked and overwhelmed with layout and varied equipment sited. I have every other day or so used various equiment and now feel I have tovcontinue when I return back to Barbados as I feel much better and feel the improvenent made to my body. Only wish PLANET can be exported so as I can continue and further improve my fitness and health. A big thumbs up to PLANET. Regards ZAKIR, FROM BARBADOS.
