She did not rush her visit with either of my children who were both scheduled as new patients on today. Upon introduction she was so warm, caring and friendly! The hug she gave me almost made me cry! And both of my toddlers were so all over the place yet she made me feel like it was so normal! She played with them and laughed and hugged them and made them feel comfortable!!!!She is truly called to do her job and I am so blessed to have found her! If I could give her 10 starts I absolutely would!! Mid City you hired an absolute angel❣️

I wish I could rate them higher, I really do, but with the way they treat my son and his case of ADHD/Autism is absolutely insane. Long story short, we started seeing Dr. Ritch when my son was 5. At the time, we only knew of his ADHD. After pushing and pushing, we finally got a referral to NWLA Psychologists and received the diagnosis of Autism. My son is on ADHD medication, but it doesn’t quite cover all the bases. He started exhibiting tendencies of self harm at age 6 and had to spend a couple of weeks at Brentwood over an episode. He was put on a mood stabilizer at Brentwood by one of their resident physicians and it was a MIRACLE. However, upon discharge, Dr. Ritch REFUSED to continue the medication regimen with the mood stabilizer, stating “we don’t deal with that here”. unfortunately, the prescribing physician at Brentwood could not be reached and we were told to “continue with his PCM”. I called Dr. Ritch’s nurse crying and begging for the mood stabilizer because it helped him so much, but they doubled down on me. Now, we have moved out of state and can’t get him in to see another physician for a month. Does Mid City help us with the transition of care? Heck no! Instead, they tell us we’re SOL bc it’s out of state and they refuse to send an electronic prescription. So yeah… they don’t care about the kids and their wellness, at least not in the more difficult cases.
