Awesome staff and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. I’m 67 and I’ve been going to this business since I was a teen . I started with Dr Kathman and then Dr Cheney since Dr Kathman retired. My whole family is taken care of by Dr Cheney. His new office building is state of the art and beautiful.

Honestly the best dentist office I've been to. I'm not from New Orleans and every single person who works here is so sweet and caring and I couldn't have had a better experience. It's so easy to book appointments and they have amazing communication! 10/10.

I came in with an extensive amount of dental work that had to be done after years of chronic health issues. Dr. Chaney came up a treatment plan and did all the work in a reasonable amount of time and at the price he offered. Dr. Chaney is a skilled surgeon and the work was done with a minimal amount of pain. He genuinely loves his job and it shows. The staff is excellent and all have very good bedside manner. There are some quirks as this is NOLA, and the office moves at a very fast pace. All that said the combination of good bedside manner, effective work at the price he stated makes this one of my best interactions I have had with someone in the medical community in my entire life.

I called to inquire as a new patient for a cleaning / checkup. They told me they schedule these six months out. I asked if that was for existing patients or new. They told me "existing". I said I was new and asked again what they can do. They replied that sometimes they get cancellations. I asked if they expected me to wait by the phone for six months in the hopes that a space opened up *for a commodity service that a first year dental hygienist student can do*. Six months on a transplant list? Sure. Six months for a glorified flossing session? GTFO! They did not appear to understand the nature of my question; I had apparently run up against the reality of education in Louisiana.
Such is life. Therefore I did not meet the dentist, and apparently I never will. I am sure he is competent; dentistry ain't rocket science and teeth aren't brain cells. Onward with my search!
