    I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The whole staff is friendly and professional - Briona and Dr. O especially. Dr. Insler is no-nonsense while you're in the operating room, and he communicates very well throughout the procedure. I'm not sure how long the surgery took, but I can't imagine it took much longer than 5 minutes. If you live out of town like me (Biloxi, MS), I would highly recommend staying at the Ramada Metairie which is less than a quarter mile from LVI. I took a long nap at the hotel and woke up pain-free about 8 hours later. The best part about that hotel is the IHOP that's attached to it. You don't have to walk outside to get food, and it's open 24/7. As far as pain goes, the procedure is not painful. Your eyes are numbed, and it's uncomfortable, but it's not painful. About 30 minutes after the surgery my eyes felt a burning sensation that was very similar to when I used to take my contacts out after cutting up habaneros or other hot peppers. I took a couple Unisom PM Pain tablets and knocked out while listening to an audiobook. I woke up pain-free and able to see. This is a long review, so if you made it this far, I believe in you. You got this. It's absolutely worth it.

    Greg, Dr Gregory and Dr Insler were all fantastic. Dr Gregory is great with her patients! Dr Insler gives you confidence in the procedure. Greg keeps you calm and happy. They have an incredible staff and I can see better than 20/20 a day after surgery!
