- TCTeri ColeJan 5, 20261.0If you miss ONE treatment appointment without calling, they’ll drop you from care. They don’t care what the reason if or if you child has cavities. Heartless PEDIATRIC practice! When I called and tried to explain and even offered to pay a no show fee, she told me that is only offered to patients with private insurance and policy won’t budge. I’m glad everyone who works here walks on water!

However, I received a voicemail stating the appointment was being canceled due to not confirming. At no point in the paperwork or appointment reminders was it indicated that failure to confirm would lead to cancellation. I attempted to call the office on Friday afternoon, only to discover they close an hour early. Their office is also closed for an hour at lunch, which unfortunately overlaps with the only time I can call due to my work schedule. Despite these limitations, I had every intention of attending the Monday appointment, until I was told it was already been canceled on their end. What’s most upsetting is that I then received a letter in the mail stating I would be charged a “no-show” fee and that both of my children would be dismissed as patients, citing that the office’s time is valuable. I was not given a fair opportunity to attend the appointment I had scheduled, nor any clear warning that failure to confirm would result in cancellation and dismissal. We’ve been patients here for four years and have never once missed an appointment. I’ve never had a provider cancel an appointment themselves and then penalize us for it. This experience has been deeply disappointing and unfair, and I hope they reconsider how they handle communication and long-term patient relationships.
