I placed my order for "refill" on CPAP supplies 2 weeks ago. I have called 4 times to get an update and each time you get a new person who says they will look into the delay and call me back. Of course, no one calls back. Meanwhile - NO SUPPLIES. I would highly recommend using ANOTHER COMPANY for your CPAP supplies!!!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! Since early July I have been trying to get cpap supplies. I had requested my doctor to write a script for a mask that didn’t pull at the hair and get tangled in the cpap mask. Throughout my many telephone conversations with Ochsner OHME I gave up on that and gave in to just trying to get the same supplies I have been using. Gina was the first person I spoke to and before I could inquire about different options, she recited a pre-scripted dialogue of what I could get. She was so enthusiastic, almost to the point of making me feel I had won the lottery! Then, being able to get a word in edgewise, I explained my desire to get something less damaging to my hair. Her whole demeanor changed and I was told she’d have to have someone from “that department “ call me. Of course they didn’t. I called back 5 days later and Joy told me I needed to see a therapist “for a fitting “. BS. I contacted my doctor and asked them to just have the supplies sent to me. They advised they had reached out to OHME and they would be calling me. They didn’t! I called the next day and left a voicemail for a return call. None. I then called on 07/23 and was assured by Quanry that the supplies would be going out and should arrive within 3-4 days! Not. I again called on 08/04 9:46 am and per Jerry, who said he had spoken to Tanya, that he would have Quanry call me back with an explanation as to why they weren’t shipped. Jerry said if I didn’t get a callback in an hour to call them back. No call from Quanry. So I call back at 11:17 am and per Meliss and she said she’d have someone call within 1-2 days. Advised her that I wanted to speak to someone then. So Quanry gets on the phone to advise that the reason the supplies didn’t go out earlier is because the insurance company needed a “prior authorization “ and that wasn’t received until 08/01. So the shipping department would be sending the supplies out that day, via FedEx. I then called my insurance company to see if, and if so, why, a prior authorization was needed. The advocate advised that none was needed as I had initially received my cpap equipment in April and the authorizations were good for a year. Plus, they had not received any request for same from OHME. He offered to call OHME to clarify any issues. It was a 3 way call and we again get Meliss on the line who says, “if Quanry says it was shipped out, then it was and that was that”. The insurance advocate asked to speak to Quanry to clarify. Meliss put us on hold and the call was disconnected! We called back. This time, per Kelly, who said, from the notes, that Quanry had “advised her that a prior authorization WASN’T necessary and that the supplies had been sent to the shipping department”. I advised that I disagreed with his notes, and that I wouldn’t have initiated the call to my insurance company re the prior authorization & there was still no explanation as to why the supples weren’t sent on the 23rd. His notes were just to “cover his actions, or lack thereof !!! Not one person at OHME has been helpful in getting the supplies, so if your provider suggests them, ask for an alternative!

The only consistently positive experience I've had with this department has been the delivery service. When issues arise with delivery, they are most likely the result of administrative errors—not the fault of the delivery team. However, some of the staff members I've spoken with over the phone have been unprofessional, at times rude and disrespectful. This reflects a need for better customer service training and perhaps stronger oversight. It's disappointing that such behavior has gone unnoticed, especially by an organization like Ochsner. This department would greatly benefit from improved staff training, accountability, and possibly a review of its internal culture. After years of giving the benefit of the doubt, I felt it was finally time to speak up. The overall quality of service has been consistently poor, and it deserves attention.

WARNING!!! WARNING!! WARNING!!! I hope you read this review before using these people. First in getting the equipment, they overcharged my copay. I had to call my insurance company and a Rep from insurance spent almost 1/2 straightening out the situation while Inwaited on the line. I came home with a tank of O2 to hold until the came The hospital did not give me a choice which Inthink violates Medicare rules Driver called whileI was in hospital , asked me to call back office when I was discharged around noon I did rhat and then called 4 additional times and asked to speak to Supervisor. He was to call me Finally at 9pm they put me thru to the driver who was in New Orleans and I’m in Slidell. I was about to run out of O2 when he arrived at 10pm with Concentrator but not portable. The next day more phone calls. Driver comes with portable says batteries are all charged and I’m good to go. So this morning get ready to use and both batteries are dead and it takes 5 hours to charge each battery. I called again and they questioned about batteries and said they would send 2 in replacement but it was going to take a few hours I was set to see husband in Nursing Honey but will now have to wait a day. I will never ever use these people again . Oh Supervisor has not called back - doubt he will
