I went after having a positive Covid test and confirmed I had Covid. I had been advised to request Paxlovid for its effectiveness. My wife was diagnosed with Covid as well and received her prescription on Paxlovid immediately. The nurse practitioner said she was not familiar with it and rather than ask the pharmacist who was 10 feet away she told me she would give me an alternative that was equally effective. When I arrived at the pharmacy I asked if the drugs were equivalent. They said no that the drug she prescribed was generally given in situations where there is a conflict in the patient’s current drug regimen. I am not on any medications so it’s not applicable. As a result I had to call back multiple times and wait in a parking lot for over an hour when I felt really bad. My pet more considerate care at the vet clinic we take him to. Don’t go here unless you want the same results.

Don’t waste your time here, like I did. I suddenly got pinkeye, and was running between 3 doctors offices to try and get meds for it, and no one could get me in, or the wait was hours long. Another Little Clinic told me that this clinic had an open appointment at 1:00, and the other Little Clinic scheduled me online to this location. When I arrived at this Little Clinic location, all the signs on the door and desk said “closed.” I thought, “maybe it’s just for a lunch break?” So I waited around until I could find a worker. The worker I found then told me, “oh yea, there hasn’t been a doctor here all day, she must’ve called in.” Well wouldn’t that have been nice to know? Patients should not be able to make appointments, wait for 2 hours for that said appointment, just to go in and find out they aren’t even open. Even the worker I talked to looked confused, and mentioned that someone else had tried coming in for an appointment that day too, but didn’t get seen because of poor communication. This was completely unfair and a waste of my time. They must have terrible communication if all the doctors aren’t there and you can still schedule appointments online. It needs fixed immediately. Didn’t get medications for my pinkeye until almost 7 pm, and my “appointment” with this Little Clinic was at 1 pm. I could’ve had them hours ago and not been in so much discomfort and pain had they fixed their ways.

UPDATE: I was seen at another urgent care place this morning (1/22/19). I had elevated pulse and blood pressure, with a lot of wheezing in my chest. They actually took the time to talk to me and hear what was going on. I am currently on an antibiotic and steroid for bronchitis and sinus infection. The doctor actually told me if I had gotten any worse I would have been sent to the hospital. So, yes, I reiterate what I said in my earlier review yesterday. They completely failed a patient yesterday. Shame on them. I do not recommend this Little Clinic. I have used this clinic three times since November. My first experience I saw Katie, and that experience was great! She saw me. Listened to everything and made a diagnosis (lower respiratory tract infection). She even prescribed medicine that actually helped me recover. I had to return to the clinic this past Friday, because I was showing all signs of having the flu. My flu test came back negative, which I was grateful for. I saw Megan this time. I told her I had symptoms of the flu, and I was having ear pain. She said I probably had an upper respiratory infection that was masking as the flu. She barely took the time to look in my ear before she said that it looked fine. She prescribed me a cough syrup, and that was all. She said since I was only on day 4 of feeling ill to see if the infection would run its course over the next few days. If I still felt bad by day 7 or 8 to come back. So, today is day 7. My symptoms are worse. It feels like something is crushing my chest and I get short of breath. My cough has not gotten any better with that cough syrup. I made an appointment to be seen again. I got there and signed in. The nurse got my information and asked why I was there. I explained the situation that I had come in on Friday, but my symptoms were getting worse instead of better. She says she'll be right back. She goes and talks to the nurse practitioner, who was the clinic manager. They both come out and this nurse practitioner proceeds to tell me that she can see me, but probably won't prescribe anything. She can give me an inhaler. I already have an inhaler. I'm still having problems. She says the symptoms can last 14 days. Well, my chest hurts and I'm doing all of the home remedies to make it better. I try to go to a "professional" and they basically turn me away. I will not be returning to this little clinic. They failed me as a patient, especially when none of my illnesses have ever "run their course".
