I wanted more for her than the typical health-care environment offered, and through a series of events that I can only call "God things," I was introduced to Seasons and their 24/7, residential, 4-bedroom care home. Long story short, my mom moved to Seasons and lived out her final 17 months in a loving, caring, safe, stimulating, family environment. I couldn't have asked for a better situation for her. And when her health and mental state deteriorated even more, and when it was obvious that she was closing in on the end of her life, she was still able to remain at Seasons, her home. Hospice was even able to come in for added support in those last few weeks, keeping her entirely in a familiar environment with her recognized caregivers. The Seasons' staff became like a second family to me. Even though my mom is gone now, whenever I run into a former caregiver or even the owner, I am still warmly greeted because of the close connections built during the time my mom was a resident of Seasons Care Home.
