Dr. Huyvaert was born and raised in Granger, Indiana and attended Penn High School. After high school, he attended Butler University in Indianapolis and received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from 1990-1994. He went on to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry from 1994-1998, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree.
After graduation, Dr. Huyvaert relocated back to the Mishawaka area and practiced from 1998-2000. He came to New Carlisle in the fall of 2000. Dr. Huyvaert and his wife Jen have three children Jeffrey ’07, Avery ’09, and Pressley ’10. Dr. Huyvaert enjoys all sports, but most of all he loves spending time with his family.
