- KWKirk WrightMar 3, 20251.0I had an appointment with Martinsville Dental Clinic on a Monday at 2:00, they called me on the Friday afternoon prior to confirm the appointment but I wasn’t available to answer the call they left a message to return their call to confirm the appointment! Bye the time I herd the message it was to late in the day to respond, they were closed and they weren’t open on the weekends so I called first thing Monday morning 8:00am when they opened. They informed me that they had cancelled my appointment, I explained to the receptionist (“the rude redhead”) what had happened and she more less told me to bad being as I couldn’t answer the phone they canceled my appointment ! So I filed a grievance on them with my insurance company, and when they contacted the dental office she lied and told them that they had insurance questions and I never called them back! I will never go to this office again, and I wouldn’t refer them to anyone! And according to the reviews I don’t know why anyone would ever go there….. I also got on the call list for a routine cleaning and the receptionist “Peggy” Didn’t like the review that I wrote, so I guess she took it upon herself to tell me that she refuses to put me on the list! P.S. My personal opinion, I think a lot of the bad reviews are due to the incompetence of the staff (the redhead) and Peggy.
- YMYour MomMay 12, 20221.0Other than they held a refund check from overpayment for an entire year and I wouldn't had known had I not gotten a letter from insurance about another overpayment, they were asked to transfer x-rays to my new dentist... didn't. When I called from the office of the new dentist, they sent old x-rays and never did fax the treatment plan they said they would. Pretty incompetent, imo. On top of all that, after seeing the new dentist, the fillings they were going to do aren't even needed according to the new dentist x-rays. Makes me wonder if they've been doing unneeded work the entire time to make money. Since they wouldn't let me go back with my child.
