I called to return unused, unopened contact lenses. I had already left a message saying I was calling to return them, so the manager knew the reason for my call ahead of time. Instead of explaining the return process, she immediately started asking a long list of questions about the contacts. Do they not fit. Are they uncomfortable. Do I need a different size or another fitting. I explained multiple times that nothing was wrong. I just decided I don’t like wearing contacts and wanted to stick with glasses. After that, she told me the return window was only 30 days. That didn’t match what I remembered, so I checked their website. Their policy clearly states 90 days for unopened contact lenses. I called back and told her I was reading the policy on their site and asked her to check it. During that call she repeatedly interrupted me, wouldn’t let me finish, and insisted the policy was 30 days. The call went nowhere and I eventually had to hang up. Because of this, I ended up calling Stanton Optical corporate to escalate the issue. I don’t know yet whether I’ll be getting a refund, but it has been escalated. If this does get resolved and the return is processed, I’ll update this review to reflect that. As of now, I don’t trust this location and won’t be going back. This is a warning to anyone considering this place. Read the policy yourself and don’t assume they’ll honor it.

You can get a discount if you're uninsured, $25 exam and more discounts for glasses. For one person with one pair of glasses you're looking at $100-300 depending on the products you want. BOGO glasses only happens if you don't use the exam discounts. Associates were extremely helpful and the exam didn't take long. If you make an appointment you're looking at about an hour start to finish.

I called before going to make sure I could get the contact/glasses exam free if I purchase glasses for the $79 promotion. I was told "yes". So l go in get the exam, pick out the glasses, then I'm told my total would be almost $1000.00 for 2 pairs of glasses at $79. I asked why it was so much and she said I had to pay for my exam, on top of many other things. I told her my exam should have been free then she said no that's only if you buy 1 years supply of contacts. The contacts with free exam was $330. I said fine I'll get the contacts but wait what contacts did she even put me in because she didn't ask me. She said "acuvue oasis", I said well I don't want those can she change that to biofinity? She said yes but you would need to pay for another eye exam because the exam you just got was for acuvue oasis and she can't just change it. Frustrated and confused I went ahead and ordered the contacts. Fast forward 1 week. I get my contacts. Then after not understanding why I couldn't see clearly for a whole month I finally said to myself "look at your prescription" so I did, then realized why I couldn't see. It wasn't that my eyes changed. The prescription was COMPLETELY WRONG. Then I went to my actual eye doctor and got a proper exam. Stanton Optical gave me a prescription that was -.75 below what my prescription actually was. How could they possibly get it THAT WRONG?! I called the customer service and they told me to go into the office and they would give me another eye exam at no charge. I said um no. I want my contacts changed out for some that I can actually use. He said they would only exchange the unopened box. I went into Stanton and the manager refunded me $180 and said that because I got the exam I had to pay for the exam even though it was completely wrong. Then she stated that what the lady meant to say was that I could get the biofinity however only the acuvue oasis came with the free exam therefore i would still need to pay for the exam and get a reexamination. So I’m out $150 I personally wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here.
