  Today I went for the second time and they did accept my Medicare PPO from Humana I went 2 years ago had the same insurance no problem. Tracy the optometrist/ ophthalmologist assistant was very very awesome- Dr Palmer very awesome- the staff seemed so much more friendly than 2 years ago. The reception very kind as well. GREAT EXPERIENCE

  I won't even give this a star! Dr. Yoon had the most unprofessional bedside manner I have ever witnessed in my 68 yrs of life! He did cataract surgery on my husband. During surgery, my husband experienced intense pain. DR. Yoon, never paused in the surgery to give any more pain management. Excusing it as " he's just very sensitive, and the pain was " it is as it is" in his words. I've had friends have cataract surgery without pain. Instead , when seeing Dr in his office 2 hrs after surgery, all the Dr was interested in was an apology for my husband's behavior under anesthia and him yelling at the Dr during the surgery that he was in pain. Yet the next day, when we saw him, he just stated that sometimes patients have reactions to medications given that are not their fault. Dr. Yoon didn't apologize to my husband for his attitude the day before. I would never recommend using Dr. Yoon's services again. My husband will be going elsewhere for his other eye cataract removal.

  Wonderful kind professional service. From walking in being greeted with a smile a happy welcoming face, to the great service. I had purchased two other pair of glasses this year from another place. My experience with the other place was subpar. I determined to have a correct and proper vision exam and a good working and fitted pair of glasses. Made my new appointment with this facility Malik Eye Specialist of Rockford. Dr Anita Palmer talked with me about my vision concerns no rush rush. She asked questions no one had ever asked before. (Side Note,, I’ve worn glasses since I was 8 years old.) Very thorough eye exam. She was knowledgeable, experienced with a great presence. Highly recommend her for new people to the wearing of corrective lens world or to the the people such as myself who may have seen a dozen Eye Drs through their lifetime. The Optician was kind pleasant while being fitted for my new pair of glasses. She answered my questions. She looked at my current pair and explained my choice in those lenses and suggested a better option for me. My current pair was giving me struggles with consistent focus while reading. My new pair fits my face well. The lenses are correct for each eye. My focus while driving excellent, and while reading. I am very thankful for this great team at Malik Eye Specialist of Rockford.

  Staff is polite, but the doctor's have zero compassion or bedside manner. Just want to do their exam and get you out of the room. Waste of my time, money, and effort attempting to get treated what is for me a very difficult area of the body to deal with. Doctor couldn't have cared less why I was there, or what had happened prior to my walking in. Just wanted his poke, prod, and run me out of the office. Will never go back.
