So very grateful for Ashley in always helping me find the best pair of glasses, being patient with me, and being candid about fitment and practicality. This location nails it every time and I am ever so grateful for their patience, their kindness, their attentiveness in ensuring I can see the world vividly!

Made an appointment for my husband and me. Saw the doctor for our exams. While I was receiving my exam, an employee grabbed a tray and picked out several pairs of glasses for my husband and left. I came out and spent over an hour looking at glasses around the store and never had an employee approach for assistance or to offer a tray for my selections. I decided I was done waiting since we had been there over 2 hours. Went to the cashier to pay for the exams and it took over 10 minutes to checkout when there was only 1 person who was finishing up before us. I know it was busy but there were plenty of employees who didn’t seem to prioritize the efficiency that is needed in that situation. Quite disappointed since this wasn’t our first time going to this location.

The staff here were polite, but the insurance and pricing process was extremely misleading and disorganized. Before my appointment, I called and specifically asked whether my Medicaid plan covered the exam, glasses, and contacts. The staff checked my plan and told me all of those were covered, so I scheduled the appointment based on that. When I arrived, I was told there would also be a mandatory contact lens fitting fee of $50, never mentioned over the phone, which I agreed to because I still believed the contacts themselves would be covered. After the exam, I was first told I was actually covered for contacts OR glasses, and I chose contacts. Then I was told contacts were only covered every two years and not today. I explained that I had not used that benefit and had been paying out of pocket for over a year. After checking, they then told me this location only accepts Medicaid for the exam, not for contacts or glasses, completely different than what was disclosed before the appointment. At that point, I had already completed the exam and needed contacts for work, so I had no practical option but to self-pay. I asked if anything could be done given that I was given incorrect information multiple times. I was told they could take 15% off the fitting, which they now said was $80, even though I had been quoted $50 at the front desk. After more discussion, they agreed to charge the original $50, which effectively eliminated the “discount.” No one was rude, but I was repeatedly given contradictory information about coverage and pricing. What I was told on the phone and at check-in did not match what actually happened. If this location does not accept Medicaid for materials, that should be clearly stated before the exam so people can make informed decisions.
