  We found Home Instead several months ago after my 93 y/o father was hospitalized. He was living in Assisted Living and needed additional observation. We found out he was eligible for a VA companion benefit and Home Instead was able to provide care. Our first care companion was Taylor and she was with my dad from late April until he passed in October. My dad suffered a horrible fall in August and we needed additional companions. We were approved for more VA time. We had two additional care companions Emma and Jessica. All three companions were the BEST. My dad had been pretty independent his whole life so it was a little difficult for him to accept outside help. Our care companions became part of our family. They were the best...my dad became very close to each one. We thank them for their love, care and support. They were with him until his end.

  I highly recommend Home Instead. They came into our lives at a time of confusion and chaos. My 98 year old mom wanted to return to her assisted living facility after being discharged from the hospital but required more assistance. We found this out at the last minute. Home Instead stepped in and provided aides that same day. The aides were caring and dependable. The agency provides excellent communication and responds to changing needs with ease. I would not hesitate to use them if the need arises.

  When our doctor declared that my spouse was in her ‘4th stage’ of Parkingson’s, we began an earnest search for a Care Giver organization that had flexibility to periodically provide experienced and caring personnel to tend to her needs and safety, especially in my absence. This would allow me to manage other duties like shopping, lawn work, scheduling appointments, and activating our Long Term Care policy. The Home Instead representative (Kristen) came to our home and explained their ability to schedule caregivers who were best suited to manage my wife’s condition. I have visited and meet with each of their office staff, and ALL are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and Customer Focused. And, most importantly, my wife is very pleased with each Home-Instead Care Giver who has visited our home to attend to her (our) needs. Give them a call. - Agoldwing

  The Naperville/St. Charles Home Instead is a wonderful company. The caregivers are trained and professional and the office staff is a great team to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for care for their loved one.
