My daughter’s appointment with Dr. Kumar was very disappointing. The nurse had already helped my daughter open her mouth with no issues, but when Dr. Kumar repeated the technique, she pushed her finger too far into my daughter’s throat, causing her to gag and eventually vomit. Instead of checking on her, Dr. Kumar focused on cleaning the board first. By that time, I had already grabbed wipes myself to clean my daughter’s clothes and hair, and only afterward did she offer a napkin. She also kept asking, “Do I smell cereal? Did someone eat cereal today?” while my daughter was still distressed, which felt very insensitive. There was no comfort or reassurance until much later and kept saying that it's normal for children to throw up during the checkup, and even then it felt dismissive. She apologized only after the fact and left the room without saying goodbye or checking on my daughter again. This visit lacked empathy, attention, and proper pediatric care.

1 STAR — Traumatic experience for my child My son had an extremely traumatic experience at this practice. I was told I wasn’t allowed in the room with him during treatment — what was supposed to be cavity treatment turned into a tooth extraction. He came out shaking, crying, and terrified. He told me he asked for me multiple times, but no one ever brought me in to comfort him. He also said he couldn’t breathe through his nose, so the nitrous oxide wasn’t even helping — and yet they continued. He said he almost passed out from the pain, begged for me, and they still didn’t stop or come get me. That is completely unacceptable. No child should ever be left alone and in pain like that. What happened here was traumatizing, and now my son has medical PTSD because of this experience. Parents — be warned. If you care about your child’s emotional safety, do not bring them here.

Devin was so gentle, patient, and wonderful with my kids. My boys were calmed and even giggling through their cleanings. Such a great experience! My boys didn’t want to leave! Can’t rave enough about the care provided by everyone we encountered, but especially Devin. Absolutely recommend for sensitive kids who are maybe scared of the dentist!!

The most clean and organized pediatric dentistry I ever visit. They are very kind and cooperative. The doctors, nurses, and assistants offer the best service especially Ms. America in the reception. She is always doing her best to make visitors happy and try to find a solution for any problem. I would likely recommend them to my friends.

Was asked by the dentist if my son was a foster child or adopted. Was a very rude question to ask based on assumptions as I am apart of the lgbtq community. Will not be returning with my biological son or any other children for that matter.
