  I've been coming to this location for contraceptives needs. They make it so easy and accessible to receive service. The office area is well kept and clean.Shayna is so nice and professional. She easy to talk to about any reproductive questions one may have and makes the experience less intimidating. Overall good experience coming here.

  I came into this location for myriad symptoms I've been experiencing for 12 months. This is not my first appt or treatment course at planned parenthood regarding these symptoms, but the first at this location. When I came in in mid November 2025, describing my symptoms and what I'd like to be tested for, the nurse who did my intake said that test would be irrelevant and she didn't really know what the provider would do for me. This was dismissive but also confusing because then the provider actually listened and ended up agreeing on that certain test being done. The provider also walked me through my care plan in the case that this test did not come back positive, so we had a next plan of action. I was really appreciative that she listened to everything I had to say and helped me get my arms around it. I remember mentioning to her my trepidation with starting another treatment - I have already taken multiple other treatments which takes a toll on my body but did not ultimately clear my symptoms. She still recommended I start the first course of treatment - stating we could then begin the 2nd course once those test results came back positive. However, less than a week later, after having begun that 1st course of treatment, I get a call that the office packaged my test results incorrectly so my diagnosis could not be confirmed. That means, I have to take another unpaid half day off from work. I have to go get the test re-done. I will then have to pay for and put my body through that first course of treatment all over again and then wait for the test results before starting the 2nd course. The financial, emotional and bodily toll this has taken on me, especially considering I have actually been trying to get this entire thing solved since Jan 2025, has not been properly acknowledged by the office - all I was offered was a covered retest, which is not easy to arrange between holiday and work travel. Since there is no accountability in healthcare, I will update this review as my care at this location continues. Edit 12/9/2025: the Rogers park office told me I could be seen sooner while I was traveling by going to a local PP location. However, after going through the trouble of making an appt in another state, they informed me there is no way they can/will cover the re-test for free. My retest with Rogers park is now scheduled for 1 month after my original test.

  I came in for an HRT continuation appointment after switching from Howard Brown after more than a decade, and the service experience is truly night and day. Aaliyah checked me in, and did a fantastic job making me feel welcome and cared for. after that, i had the most amazing experience with Shayna, who made my appointment feel like meeting a friend rather than going to a doctor’s office. she was friendly, polite, and an absolute joy to spend time with. when i had to have blood drawn, her skill made the process feel effortless. Shayna even checked in with me after she left to make sure i was feeling okay, and offered to check in if there was any delay with the nurse, which thankfully there wasn’t. Stephanie treated me in such a warm and professional manner, and really made me feel in charge of my own care. truly, i could not imagine a better time - everyone here is operation in the highest level, and it makes me proud to be part of Chicago. keep fighting the good fight, y’all ☻
