- MSMelissa ShaferJul 2, 20215.0Another great experience at a Planned Parenthood. I loved my provider and felt like everyone was very empathetic and caring. They were a bit behind schedule so my appointment started pretty late in the afternoon but the sonographer stayed a little later to do an ultrasound on me and I was very grateful. I've had some of my best medical care experiences at Planned Parenthoods (Manhattan and Long Island City locations), I highly recommend.
- ARAlison RosowMay 4, 20175.0My regular OBGYN no longer takes my insurance, so I went to PP LIC. From beginning to end, this was a great experience. When I asked if I could take some LGBT pronoun stickers for the students I work with, the women at the front desk who was very professional told me to take them all and asked if I needed other stickers, such as "safe Space" stickers. Info was taken in a quick and orderly fashion, my wait time for exam rm was probably 5-10 minutes, exceptional for NYC, And the PA, I think her name was Crystal Garcia was nice, professional, thorough, non-judgemental, and gentle. I waited a little for the nurse practitioner, but the exam was quick, she was professional, and gave good explations. I would definitely go back, recommend, and I'm even thinking of upping my $10 a month donation to $20. #IstandwithPP
