I’ve always loved staying active—sometimes a little too active—with yoga, cycling, swimming, SUP, and even plenty of late-night techno dancing. But earlier this year, I started feeling my age catching up with me. I had set a big goal for myself: get into the best shape of my life before a trip to Mexico in May. Everything was on track—body fat percentage down, mobility up—until one yoga class after a 30-mile ride when I pushed too far in a stretch and heard a loud pop in my right leg. The whole room heard it. A partial hamstring tear, just a week before my trip.
Hobbling around Cabo was my wake-up call. My training was good, but not balanced. I had weak spots that needed attention, and I knew I needed more than just a “cookie-cutter” rehab plan. I’d been to the big-box PT clinics before and left disappointed by the assembly-line care. This time, I wanted a real expert who would understand my lifestyle, history, and goals. That’s when I found Fast Track Physio and started working with Coach Paul.
I’ll admit, I hesitated at first since I knew I’d be paying out of pocket. But after my first assessment, I knew I’d made the right call. Paul took the time to dive deep into my athletic background, evaluate my current condition, and map out where I wanted to go. Every session combines manual therapy to relieve pain with targeted exercises to build long-term strength and stability. The “homework” he gives me hasn’t always been easy—in fact, some movements were brutally hard at first—but I realized those were exactly the areas my body had been neglecting.
When I started, my pain was an 8 out of 10. Now, just 5 months later, I’m down to a 1 or 2 most days. More importantly, I feel stronger and more balanced than I ever have. Paul constantly checks in on how things feel, challenges my assumptions about training, and keeps me motivated every step of the way.
Today, I’m not just recovering—I’m building. My hamstring is healing, my overall strength has skyrocketed, and the physical (and even aesthetic) improvements have given me a new level of confidence to go after even bigger goals. I came to Fast Track Physio looking for someone to fix my hamstring. What I found was not just a PT, but a coach, a mentor, and a partner in my health journey.
If you’re tired of generic care and want a truly personalized program that gets results, Paul at Fast Track Physio is the real deal. I’m living proof that you can get back on your feet—and come out even stronger than before.
Paul works miracles.
First, let me say I've been doing CrossFit for years. My body was starting to feel it. One day, I was at the gym, and felt something in my shoulder. Paul took a look, invited me to his table.
Two sessions later, I'm on the mend and back to lifting heavy. He works miracles.
Also, to note, Paul is just a good guy. While I'm on the table and he's pushing on my shoulder in ways that cause immense discomfort, he keeps me smiling. Paul is personable, relatable, and respectful. Most of all, he knows his stuff.
