I can’t find enough space to rave about the Skokie office! I have. been going years and years . They’ve healed my injuries , & maintained my aging body and soul beautifully . Dr K is my “go
to” after any (sadly , I’ve had several) injuries . He has Many tricks to heal one’s pain . They’ve cured me each time. Staff is outstanding !!! Stephanie is amazing on the key board , Opi & Katlyn are always so professional , comforting and knowledgeable & my healers : Carlos the magic handed masseuse as well as Dianna have brought me to a pretty much pain free lifestyle .
Did I make it clear enough that I love these people?

First of all, Dr. Webster was great. My only complaint is when I booked my appointment, my insurance card info was requested.. I provided the info and also check the website and noticed that the insurance company that I belong to, is listed. When I arrived to my appointment, my card was photocopied and I eventually saw the doctor. When it was over, I went to pay my co-pay only to find out that I was being billed for the treatment in its entirety . I asked if that was my co-pay and was told that it was but I would be charged $70 for each visit afterwards. I contacted my insurance and was told that my co-pay for a visit is simply $15 for each visit. I believed that the office knew that I wasn't covered and did not mention it when I arrived. It was very deceptive and they lost a patient!

I asked them prior to booking appointment to confirm that they could bill my insurance for (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) and they said that they could. I asked them to double check & a person told me they’d call me back. They called me back saying "yes." About 1 day later I received care from Chiropractor Dr. Alden Clendenin. At the counter, I believe a younger man (possibly a recruit chiropractor-his name may have been Sam but not sure.) asked if I wanted to pay with a card and get reimbursed when insurance paid (a discounted rate) or bill insurance instead. I said the latter. He then said he needs to collect the payment upfront because their 3rd party company that verifies insurance. I paid them the rate they said was discounted but protested, explaining that I verified beforehand that insurance would be billed. In an email after the visit, I responded to them asking how the visit was. I wrote to them that they did get paid but lost a patient due to the payment issue. Dr. Clendenin called me the same day (my husband heard the conversation) arguing if he goes to a Dunkin donuts for example, he doesn’t expect to walk out with a donut without paying the business. I told him it was wrong analogy & explained how I verified with office getting assurance that my insurance woud be billed. He stated when he breaks a leg, he expects to pay the bill after treatment. He confirmed that once he bills the insurance his office would issue me a refund on my card. So eventually after I saw the processed payment on my insurance claims I emailed them copies showing they received payment (they got paid 2x) so I asked when they would reimburse my card. No response. Then emailed again a week later. They responded with a very short reply that I need to contact my insurance to get reimbursed by insurance. I emailed them back saying that they told me they would refund it back on my card by 2 people & no mention was made of my insurance reimbursing me. I emailed more times but no response and no refund.
