I regret ever walking into AirSculpt. I spent over $18,000 on liposuction of the abdmen and BBL, and the outcome was incredibly disappointing. Not only was the procedure very painful, they left significant fat in my stomach and I saw absolutely no noticeable results despite following all post-op instructions exactly as they said. I never saw the doctor prior to the day of surgery, but the consultant promised me results in the consultation.
What made the experience even worse was how AirSculpt handled my concerns afterward. When I went for my 3 month appointment, hoping for some accountability or at least a conversation with the doctor about what went wrong, the doctor wasn't there. I then went for my 6 month appointment, and I saw the surgeon, but I was completely dismissed. He never acknowledged my concerns, and offered no solutions, no support, and no willingness to make things right. Once they had my money, the quality of care and communication dropped off a cliff.
For a procedure this expensive and serious, I expected professionalism, honesty, and some level of responsibility from AirSculpt. Instead, I was left feeling ignored, unheard, and out a massive amount of money with nothing to show for it.
Based on my experience, I strongly urge anyone considering this place to think twice. Based on my experience, I feel they don't value patient outcomes and don't stand behind their work. This is one of the biggest regrets of my life, and I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did.

I wan to make myself very clear when writing this review. I went into this location for a consultation on 12/19/2025 and after speaking about financing I did book an appointment 3 weeks out for 1/9/2026. I did speak with my husband regarding all of the fees and he quickly suggested going for a second opinion and that I in my Capricorn fashion jumped ahead of myself. I emailed PatientFi and the office on 12/21/205 letting them know that I changed my mind and decided to cancel all together. PatientFi did let me know that there was no issue with this but then I quickly received a voicemail from Lauren at Airsculpt on 12/22 letting me know that cancelling all together was fine but that I would still be charged $1,895.00 for cancelling because that is their office policy. I'm an office manager for a 5 star office in Lincoln Park so I completely understand office policies but all of this was within 4 days and I'm being charged $1,895.00 for having nothing done. I actually will copy and paste the office policy down below.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We understand that life happens, but we do ask that any changes to your appointment be made at least 7 business days in advance. Cancellations made after this window - or failure to show -will forfeiture of deposit full cost in line with our policy. Cancellations made after proceeding will incur a non-refundable fee of $1,895.
This helps us ensure availability for all of our patients and keeps our surgical calendar running smoothly. Thank you for understanding!
I'm basically being charged to help ensure their surgical calendar runs smoothly 3 weeks out in advance. Needless to say I think this situation was handled very poorly in just a matter of 4 days.
Update: I was emailed and texted regarding the cancelation fee and it was waived in good faith.

This was my second time getting Airsculpt. I’m one week post op and even though this time a round has been slightly different with the healing process the employees and nurses have been very helpful with answering my questions and also making me feel very comfortable before going in for my procedure. I reccomend airsculpt to anyone I talk to about small insecurities and trouble getting body contouring done! I also took advantage of their black friday deal and got discounts.

My procedure was yesterday, and so far my experience has been disappointing. From scheduling to what I was going to be having done, there was some miscommunication. By email they told me I could opt to have fat transferred into the back of my hands. When I talked with the doctor, he marked my hands. However, later came back into the room to say he wasn’t authorized to perform that procedure at that office. I could either reschedule the entire procedure or not transfer the fat.
I had to wait in a cold room in a thin robe for almost 2 hours before my procedure. They could at least have a space heater or warm blankets, hot tea?? The biggest frustration is when you pay for the armpit area, they only do a very small area (1/3) and not the full armpit area above the bra line. They call this something separate like back bra roll and front bra roll. I don’t feel I got what I paid for (compared to similar procedures with different doctors). I will update my review as results develop and swelling goes down.
** edited to respond to Airsculpt’s comments below: I was told I was waiting for someone to come into the office to redo the forms, which should not be the case when a patient is ready and waiting for a procedure. Beforehand, I was told multiple times that I could make changes/additions to the procedure on the day of. Additionally, I requested a warm blanket and was told there were none.
Frequently Asked Questions About AirSculpt - Chicago
What is AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® is an advanced, minimally invasive fat removal procedure that we offer exclusively. At our Chicago body sculpting location, we remove fat cell by cell through a tiny freckle-sized entry point—no scalpels, no stitches, and no general anesthesia. The procedure also tightens skin, making it a top choice for effective, natural-looking body contouring in Chicago.
Is AirSculpt® invasive?
AirSculpt® is a minimally invasive body sculpting technique that allows patients to remain awake during the procedure. With no general anesthesia and quick recovery, it’s ideal for anyone seeking results with less risk and downtime.
Am I a good candidate for AirSculpt®?
If you’re over 18 and have stubborn fat resistant to diet and exercise, you may be a great candidate. Whether you’re interested in a Brazilian butt lift in Chicago, reshaping your midsection, or refining your chin and jawline, AirSculpt® offers a personalized solution.
How is AirSculpt® different from traditional liposuction?
AirSculpt® is gentler and more precise than traditional liposuction. It doesn’t require general anesthesia and involves significantly less trauma to the body. For those comparing body sculpting options in Chicago, AirSculpt® provides faster recovery and smoother, more predictable results.
How many AirSculpt® treatments are needed per area?
Most patients only need one treatment per area because the fat is permanently removed. Many Chicago body sculpting clients choose to address multiple areas during a single session to achieve full-body results more efficiently.
How long is the downtime or recovery?
Downtime is minimal—most patients return to normal activities in 24–48 hours. Wearing a compression garment for 14 days is recommended for optimal healing and results, which is easy to manage for on-the-go Chicago residents. Full recovery and results take about three to six months, but this can vary from patient to patient.
How much does AirSculpt® cost?
Cost depends on the treatment area and volume of fat removed. If you’re considering chin liposuction in Chicago, a BBL, or full body contouring, a consultation at our clinic will provide you with an exact quote tailored to your goals.
Can I use someone else’s fat for a fat transfer?
No, all fat used in AirSculpt® transfers must come from your own body. This is especially important for those undergoing a Brazilian butt lift with natural fat enhancement.
How long do I wear a compression garment after fat transfer?
Garments should be worn continuously for the first 48 hours post-procedure, then daily for two additional weeks. This helps reduce swelling and support the final shape.
What’s included in a Full Abdominal AirSculpt®?
It includes the upper and lower abdomen, waist, and love handles—ideal for clients pursuing a sculpted core or combining this treatment with other body contouring procedures.
Can I treat just one area?
Yes, you can choose to treat a single area such as the chin, arms, or abdomen, or combine multiple zones in one procedure depending on your Chicago body sculpting goals.
Can I lose my double chin completely?
Many patients see a complete or significant reduction in their double chin. If you’re considering chin liposuction in Chicago, AirSculpt® offers a safer, more precise alternative with no general anesthesia.
How bad is bruising after a chin procedure?
Bruising is usually mild to moderate and resolves within one to two weeks. Our Chicago clinic provides detailed post-care instructions to support your recovery and results.
How long does a chin procedure take?
Chin AirSculpt® typically takes 20 to 40 minutes and can be done on your lunch break—making it a convenient choice for those seeking fast, non-surgical chin liposuction in Chicago.
Do you treat areas above the chin (cheeks, eyelids, etc.)?
No. AirSculpt® fat removal focuses solely on the submental region under the chin and does not treat upper facial areas. AirSculpt Lift, our facial fat transfer treatment, can rejuvenate these areas except the eyelids
What does Chin AirSculpt® feel like?
Most patients describe it as a gentle vibration, similar to an electric toothbrush—an easy and comfortable experience for Chicago body sculpting patients.
Can elderly patients get AirSculpt® on the chin or neck?
Yes! Many older patients in Chicago use AirSculpt® to treat sagging jowls or “turkey neck” for a rejuvenated, natural look—without the risks of traditional surgery.
How long should I wait to get AirSculpt® after childbirth?
Wait at least 3 months after vaginal delivery and 6 months after a C-section. This is especially important for mothers planning a mommy makeover in Chicago.
When should I stop breastfeeding before my procedure?
You can continue breastfeeding until the day of the procedure but must pause afterward until cleared by your surgeon. This is standard for all mommy makeover Chicago patients.
What part of the arms are treated with AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® targets the entire arm—from elbow to armpit—including underarm and bra roll fat. This treatment is popular for Chicago clients seeking toned, lean arms without surgery.
Is there enough fat in the arms for a transfer?
Typically, the arms don’t yield enough fat for a large transfer (like a BBL) but may be sufficient for small-volume procedures like hand rejuvenation.
How much fat can be removed from the arms?
This depends on your individual anatomy. Most patients in our Chicago body contouring clinic don’t need more than a few liters for visible, impactful results.
Does AirSculpt® tighten skin?
Yes. The procedure naturally tightens skin as fat is removed. For more significant tightening, especially after larger fat removals, we may recommend AirTite—a great option for mommy makeover patients in Chicago.
How soon will I see results?
Results are visible right away, with continued improvement over the next 3 to 6 months—perfect if you’re prepping for a major event or summer in Chicago.
Can AirSculpt® fix previous lipo procedures?
Yes. We specialize in correcting uneven or unsatisfactory lipo results. If you’ve had a botched or incomplete procedure, our Chicago body contouring experts can help restore smoothness and balance.
