My experience was deeply traumatic and not at all as advertised. During my consultation, I was told I was a candidate for a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). The plan was to remove fat from specific areas of my body and transfer it to my buttocks. I agreed to the plan, and paid in full. On the day of the procedure, the doctor refused to perform the areas we had agreed upon, claiming they were ānot good optionsā and that I supposedly did not have enough fat for a transfer. This was directly contrary to what was discussed and paid for, leaving me feeling misled and disregarded. My appointment was scheduled for 7:00 AM. I arrived on time, but I had to wait over three hours before the procedure even began. I sat alone in a cold room, partially undressed, with no explanation or comfort offered. When the procedure finally began, the doctor used a capsule-like device to create the incisions. The assistants did nothing to help ā they simply watched. Through these incisions, approximately two liters of fluid were injected into my body. The long, thick cannula tore through my tissue, causing intense and excruciating pain. I repeatedly informed the staff of the pain, but they ignored me, only saying, āTake a deep breath.ā The fat-removal process that followed was equally agonizing. At one point, the doctor left the room for about 15 minutes, leaving me cold, frightened, and in pain. When he returned, an oral oxygen was given that caused dizziness but provided no relief. After the procedure, I was quickly dressed, fitted into a compression garment, and handed a small bottle of water and a protein bar. I was sent home while still bleeding from multiple incision points. By the time I arrived home, my clothes and car were soaked in blood. The next morning, I awoke in severe pain, with dried blood all over my body and bedding. This experience was physically and emotionally devastating. AirSculpt promotes their procedures as gentle, minimally invasive, and safe ā my experience was the opposite. Communication was poor, the procedure was extremely painful, and postoperative care was inadequate. I felt deceived, neglected, and unsafe. Final Note / Warning: ā ļø Please think twice before choosing this clinic. I do not recommend AirSculpt Chicago. This was the most traumatic and painful experience of my life. I hope that by sharing my story, others can avoid a similar ordeal.
