- DVDiana VizcaynoOct 30, 20241.0I attempted to make my first annual physical today with Dr. Ankita Patel as my new pcp. Dana, the lady who was taking my appointment informed me I have to come in the office for two separate visit for an annual physical. She states this is how they do their visits. First visit is to “establish care”- they will go over my family hx, medication, allergies and will also draw labs. Then I come back a second visit for a “physical exam with the Dr”- this visit is where the Dr. will then do my physical exam, take my vitals and examine me. I asked am I paying two different copays, she said yes i will be paying the copay twice. ABSOLUTELY NOT!. This is medical insurance fraud. If they tell you to come for two separate visits and billing insurance twice for an annual physical this absolutely NOPE!!! I informed the lady I am a nurse practitioner and have worked in primary care. There is zero reason, a patient should be seen and also billed twice with a visit thats billed for an annual physical. I called my insurance asap and switched my PCP. This is why people lose their trust with healthcare professional because of people running this clinic!!
- THTed HolmMar 14, 20241.0They dint tell u fees 1st visit said no fee at the end then i get for a blood test and they wanted to charge me 350..for a temp taking and blood press and 2 meet the dpc..they then brought that fee down to 156..they say they do not know what i have to pay for my visits and this is a law in il. Seems like a rip off the doc i met seems like she has no personal intrest in my health..just wants my money..health care is supposed to be care..not a busines to make money..im going to contact my provider and try go my brothers doctor..dont care for the people here..bad experience..
