  It took three months for us to get an initial appointment with this dentist. Once we were finally seen, we were told my son would need to go under anesthesia for his cavities and that the anesthesia team would contact us. That part went smoothly — we were contacted on Friday, completed the questionnaire, and by Saturday morning we were notified that my son was cleared. We were told the dentist’s office would call to schedule the procedure. This morning, I received a call stating that my son was scheduled for the very next day. When I expressed concern about the extremely short notice, I spoke with Jocy, who identified herself as the office supervisor. Unfortunately, she was not helpful or understanding at all. Parents cannot be expected to drop everything with less than 24 hours’ notice. We have work, responsibilities, and other commitments. At minimum, a couple of days’ notice would have been reasonable. The lack of flexibility and poor communication made this experience very frustrating. Additionally, leadership matters — the supervisor did not handle the situation professionally or compassionately. This office could greatly benefit from better scheduling practices and stronger management.

  A different location referred my daughter here for fillings after she would not cooperate. Elmira did an amazing job at making her feel comfortable and explained everything beforehand. We had a great experience. The dentist was fast and efficient. Would highly recommend.
