I'm really grateful for the counselor my daughter has been seeing. She has helped her SO much after having other negative counseling experiences.

I've had excellent counseling services here. The first visit is a getting to know you and what is going on but I felt like they've greatly helped me at hard points over the years.

Upon our first visit here, we were given a cookie cutter type of visit and did not get to truly express why were we visiting or what we really needed help in. Because of this, our situation has gotten worse over the weekend. We were really hoping to have help as we have before. In Texas we were able to receive wonderful help! And in Utah we also got excellent help from lds services. We are sad that while we are living here we might not get the help we need due to lack of listening skills from our counselor. I wasn't sure if we were receiving council from a bishop or being taught a Sunday School lesson on the things we are already aware of and are daily trying to do to improve ourselves. It felt like we were a few teens being lectured to by a parent. We aren't kids, we are adults. When we tried to speak our thoughts to explain better, we were interrupted and hurried due to time constraints. I'm very disappointed in the service we received and hope that we can either get a different counselor or things better improve if we make another visit.
