  If you are interested of doing your eyes I recommend you do! If you don’t like wearing glasses. The assistance is great if you have any questions they can answer or any concerns.

  I was very happy with their staff and eye doctor. However they also recommended to Synchrony Bank/Care Credit who ended up scamming me out of thousands. This bank will not mention that the monthly payment they "promise" is actually a special promotion and when it ends they will charge you out the wazoo. I recommend the clinic but DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go with the payment plan.

  Loved my experience, I went from a -8 prescription with astigmatism to 20/15 vision in 10 minutes! I got glasses in the 2nd grade and my vision got progressively worse as I got older (thanks genetics!). My eye doctor highly recommended I get LASIK because glasses can only do so much for so long, plus if I got it now my vision could be corrected as needed when I get older. If I waited much longer though and my vision get worse, even LASIK couldn’t correct my vision back to perfect 20/20. So I went to both LasikPlus and a well known eye clinic in Iowa. I ended up going with LasikPlus because my spouse’s insurance offered a 25-30% discount with them and my eye doctor didn’t have any feelings between the two. It was the best decision I’ve made in years. We set up an appointment, got my eyes checked out for anything that indicated my eyes couldn’t handle LASIK, and reviewed expectations and risks so I knew what to expect (like what LASIK could and couldn’t do). That part was important for me because I’m a very visual person and going blind is one of my greatest fears in life. I had to delay the procedure due to medical changes in life, but when I came back they got me in for a stability check right away. I did get approval from both my primary doctor and my endocrine doctor that I was cleared for the procedure, which helped me feel better about the process. The staff were still welcoming and informative! They got my health updates and considered anything that could make LASIK risky for me, but my eyes checked out and I had the procedure two days later. It was super simple to go in the day of, the online videos reviewed everything and got me well prepared for the procedure and what to do/expect afterwards. My spouse didn’t expect to see me walking through the coffee shop door just 10 minutes after my procedure start time! My friends and family were even more shocked with how quickly it got done, but when you go somewhere that’s experienced, work with a doctor like Dr. Mae who’s done over 40,000 of these procedures, and every member of the staff is prepared there’s no need for it to take a long time! The first few hours after were a bit painful/annoying (foreign body sensation) like they said it would be, but the nap they told me to take worked wonders and I woke up with amazing vision. I still had some halos and occasional haziness but that wasn’t worse than my glasses being dirty and I expected as much based on the information provided and my own research beforehand. When I had my post-op check up two days later my vision tested at 20/15 for one eye and 20/20 for the other, I was amazed! They called it “LasikPerfect”!
