Core Physical Therapy was established in 1999 and has grown to 18 specialized physical therapists serving patients in Adel and West Des Moines. Our team brings extensive experience and advanced training in manual therapy techniques including craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and visceral mobilization. Our therapists share a strong foundation in chronic pain management, which extends across each area of our practice. Building on this expertise, our team offers subspecialties that allow us to serve patients across the lifespan. These include pelvic floor health, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, and pediatric care such as infant feeding interventions for tongue and lip ties and torticollis support. Our commitment to individualized care is reflected in one-on-one appointments held in private treatment rooms with a doctor of physical therapy.
I was suffering from sciatica running down my right leg. I was only able to sit for about 30 minutes before the pain became terrible . My first session with Jacob was 9/9. Our goal was to be able to drive to Denver in about a month and we had a very active vacation planned in mid Oct. I was pain free for both activities. We achieved our goal! Jacob was excellent to work with. I felt improved after our 1st session.

My time at Core was a pleasant experience from Rachel's friendly greeting when walking in the door through every visit. Jacob and Carissa were both amazing..... I always felt much better when I left each time and was finished with PT sessions much earlier than I expected. They are all great!

As a new patient, Core was quick to fit me in before the weekend. Their scheduling was easy to work with my availabilityand needs.
I chose CORE because of the positive experiences of friends, and am thankful for my experience there as well.
Jacob at CORE was knowledgeable and understood what I needed. Within days I was seeing great improvements.
I appreciated the one-on-one appointments and not having to be in a room full of others while being worked on.
I highly recommend CORE in Adel

Working with Justin was a very enjoyable experience. His "Whole Person" approach was evident as we co-created my healing plan. I was looking for a PT who would not only address my physical concern (pain from a bone spur on my hand) but help me see how my thoughts and emotions affect my physical state. Pain in my hand is pretty much gone. I am integrating the breathing techniques and physical exercises and am better able to manage the normal ups and downs of everyday life. Thank you Justin!

I received excellent care for sciatica from Alicia at Core Therapy. Alicia is personable, professional and knowledgeable. Because of her care I am pain free, enjoying dancing again and I’m back on the pickleball court. I highly recommend Alicia and Core Therapy!
