  This group really helped my daughter through her eating disorder. We had no idea she even had an eating disorder until she got so bad she stopped eating all altogether. She had a feeding tube when she arrived and other places would not even take her with that. They had the tube out and her eating within 24 hours, which was amazing. The counselors and dieticians there were very caring and never gave up on her. Some of the treatments can seem harsh, but I had confidence that they were professionals and knew what they were doing. The facility was nice and modern. We went from residential and then stepped down through each level and now she has almost fully recovered. I know that this is also due to a great amount prayer and help from God. If she ever regresses, God forbid, I will take her back here.

  Waste of time,the company says they take Cigna then gives me the go around and I’m not even a patient yet. This company as no shame in not taking patients with eat disorders. You see this message the company told me email ? They didn’t nothing with helping and resolving to get anything done. Just gave me the go around and never send reply’s back.

  i have a lot to say about this place. at the point i came here, i had been in ED treatment for over a year- i was mostly looking for help with mood related issues. they told my mother they can focus on that and that they treat all of that sort of thing. they insinuated that i better get in there soon or my spot would be taken (there were two other girls there). they told her she could call with any questions once i got there. i arrived at monte nido atl and they focused on ONLY eating disorders. emphasis on only. they wouldn’t return any of my mothers calls. i had tickets to see taylor swift for a year and a half, and since even before i got there i told them about it (so they weren’t surprised). 3 days before it they told me i couldn’t go because they didn’t think i was well enough. i was devastated. instead, they let me have a snack pass to go to the mall and cheesecake factory with my mom for my birthday (since i had completed every meal since i got there). the morning after i celebrated my birthday and the day before my birthday, it was a saturday so i thought it was weird i was being called into my therapists office. she said insurance declined because i was doing well and my mom was here to pick me up. they threw me out of the program with an hours notice. In short, unless your kid has absolutely no problems other than eating, this might be the place for you. the staff will lie to you/your parents (other past clients have had the same experience). Other than all of this, it’s a pretty typical ED treatment facility as far as protocols and whatnot. I do not recommend this place at all. If eating is a lesser problem than other issues for your child I recommend Skyland Trail much more.

  As a past client I would say this treatment facility is pretty typical to what you would see anywhere else. You have to keep the door cracked when you use the bathroom, Do lots of group therapy, and eat 3 meals and 3 snacks. there were a few staff that were questionable but besides that it was a pretty good experience.

  clementine atlanta truly saved my life. I was sent there directly from the hospital and from the day I started to my day of discharge I became 2 different people. I went there as a girl who was extremely sick and trapped in my ed, when I left I became the happy, strong, and dedicated girl I was before my ed. Of cource it didn’t happen over night and there was so much work to still do post discharge, but i did it. My therapist and the staff were amazing and if I ever had a child with an eating disorder I 100% would send them to clementine. right after clementine I transferred schools in the middle of my senior year, and now I am in college and thriving!
