Must admit that I was a bit skeptical but from beginning to end it was a complete pleasure as far as dental care goes. The doctor and tech constantly made sure I was comfortable and I have not experienced any pain at all!!!! Would highly recommend them and want to say thanks so much for everything!

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with McDonough Dental Studio. Earlier this year, the dentist there diagnosed me with periodontal disease and insisted I needed a deep cleaning with numbing agents. This diagnosis was alarming, so I went to a periodontist for a specialist opinion and it was confirmed that I do not have periodontal disease. That means this office would have performed unnecessary and invasive treatment on me for no valid reason. To double-check, I saw a second general dentist for another opinion. When I requested my dental records and x-rays from McDonough Dental Studio, several x-rays were missing from my chart. The staff repeatedly told me they hadn’t taken them, even though I knew they had. It took multiple calls and several days before someone finally located and uploaded them, but by then, I had already paid out of pocket for duplicate x-rays at my new dentist. I had also prepaid a deposit with McDonough Dental Studio, so I went back to use that credit for some fillings. After that visit, I fully settled my balance. I was scheduled for another filling this week, but the day before my appointment, they called saying I owed $454. When I called to find out why, I was told my dental insurance supposedly wasn’t in effect back in July when they took my x-rays. After multiple phone calls, it turned out they had never actually applied or sent my insurance claim to the correct provider, even though I gave them my current insurance information at check-in. To make matters worse, they then canceled my upcoming appointment because the specific dentist they scheduled me with doesn’t accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, despite the fact that the clinic itself does. I’ve had the same insurance for months and already had several fillings done here under that same plan, so this makes absolutely no sense. At this point, it’s clear this office is extremely disorganized and careless with both billing and patient care. I’ve heard of large corporations overbilling or mishandling insurance, but I didn’t expect it from a local dental office. I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Between the false diagnosis, missing records, and insurance incompetence, I completely lost trust in this practice.

Not professional at all... I left work early and came here for my first APPOINTMENT with McDonough dental studio (very tacky name btw, but still gave them a shot) . Arrived with time to spare to fill out paperwork. I was pointed to the kiosk put in my info and no appointment was found. The lady at the desk said that my appointment was “broken” or “fell off”. I’m not sure how or why that would happen but if this is happening on my FIRST visit I’ll just take my money to a more reputable dentist. HOPE THIS HELPS…
